This is a Masterpiece. If it was on TV, it would have several minutes of credits, showing all the many people involved in making it. And we get all this from one man! Amazing work.

I love this! I feel like in this year, I saw you not only grow both as a vlogger and a reporter/interviewer, but also as a great storyteller. As someone who is new to the running world, you took something that I don’t really have much of an interest in to something that I’m completely glued to. Keep up the amazing work, Mike!

that is a great compliment. thank you
I like how you made all of the elite runners enjoy your interviews Ko. Journalists go for “Hard” questions. That lawn mowing question is what gets them to relax and enjoy talking. Keep it going Ko. You are our source of great information. 👍🏼. This video is phenomenal 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I just loved this! Thank you for putting this together. What a wonderful retrospective of the event. You should be proud of the job you did---not bad for a "non-elite runner, non-journalist, and non-photographer!."
Never feel awkward or bad about these things, the only difference between you and the other journalist is they have a boss to answer to and you have a huge audience that you deliver the content to that is of interest to all of us. Great job as always.

You’ve found another gear. This is next level. Thanks for bringing us with you on the journey 🙌 You need to cover the next Olympics (with your sibling)!
Agreeing with the commenters saying this was very well done. I've watched this twice. This first time was on my tv and I thought, "This is so pro. I wouldn't know the difference between this and XYZ network." Great job and thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Thanks so much for watching twice!
There was not one dull second in this, which I saved for my hourlong TM run this afternoon. I feel so lucky to be part of the kofuzi community and get to tag along on your adventures-the next best thing to being there. Not only artful from a filming and editing standpoint, it was at times moving, hilarious, inspiring; running the gamut of emotions and jam-packed with non-stop fun.
Nice you got to see Eugene in all its glory. I was born there and it was destiny that I become a runner and go to UO. Eugene is a special place that every runner should visit. Hayward Field has become one of the best tracks in the world just so that it could host the World Championships. Looks so different from the days when I ran there.

What an awesome video. Loved, loved, loved it - never have a doubt again about putting out a long vlog - the atmosphere, the friendships, the fist-bumps, the goose-bumps, the community spirit were all were so evident throughout this whole event. I loved how friendly everyone was to each other, loved the community runs. You did a great job of catching the atmosphere and the amazing feats of achievement at the stadium. I can only imagine the work behind the scenes that it took to make this vlog happen. At the beginning, the voice over sounded like you had a cold, by the end I realised that it was probably more to do with having no voice left after all the shouting, cheering and encouragement that you were giving during the events. Can’t wait for the next livestream whenever you are fully recovered and ready.

This one was particularly gross
As someone who was there during the same time period, you captured so much of this beautifully. I was also nearly sure I saw you on the in-stadium big screen when they were showing celebrities in the crowd. I can't remember who was sitting in front of you that the camera was focused on because all I could think was "I'm pretty sure that is Kofuzi trying to decide if he should acknowledge that he is on camera."
Fantastic video, thank you very much for sharing it. Great insight of the championship. i didn't want it to end :)

I simply LOVED this video. Probably one of your finest, Mike. I’ve been following the World Championships from here in Sydney, Australia and this gave a much greater sense of the occasion and provided a deeper perspective too. Your honesty, your humility, and your warmth shine through. Loved the trackside coverage, the behind the scenes footage at the track and at ASICS too. Your rapport with the fellow KZreadrs, pro athletes, and fans just adds to the vibe. Great work, Mike and thanks for creating this and sharing with running fans around the world.

From everything I can tell, the 3D slides have not released yet. I was there exactly at the stated release time and nothing happened, and it just had Coming Soon show up once the page loaded. I’m used to trying for things that sell out almost instantly but I at least can see it loaded as In Stock, leading me to believe it’s not yet for sale.
Beautiful piece once again! I saw a few familiar faces from various countries. With today’s technology, I just wish there is a way for everyone to follow their favorite athletes instead of just focusing on one or two of them.

I’ve thought about that a lot. And part of me is very glad that my trip was “only” for the first half of the meet. By the time I had to leave, I had already hit the wall and was exhausted. I’d need a training plan of some sort to work on my endurance for next time.

I don’t know the rules well enough to know whether he should have been able to race on that particular night. But, the way it played out was such a shame. He had momentum coming through the heats. He was racing so well, and I was really looking forward to seeing it. The rule needs to change, especially where the finals reaction time was so similar to his reaction times in the heats.
