Another great Runner's Weekend video. You were all over the place. Great job capturing some of my favorite sites. I grew up in NYC so it has a special place in my heart. Ran NYC Marathon in 2016 and this video is making me think about NYC 2024.

Was privileged to run this last Sunday. It was my fourth major and hands down the best (but toughest) so far. I thought the crowds in London were amazing (and they are) but this was just next level. Haven’t experienced a race day atmosphere like that before! Will hopefully get to do this again one day. Would go back without question.

Hi Mike, I saw you running with the Camera Bag which is so awesome. What brand/model is it?

Awesome video! Made me want to run the New York Marathon so badly!!! still donot know how to get in, though. It seemed very hard.

For my first marathon I didn’t expect it being so tough. Brooklyn and Queens was such a vibe. Queens being my home borough gave me so much energy and emotion. Absolutely an experience just to even run the NYC marathon.

It's extremely expensive. It's inconvenient for out of towners. Is the excitement felt comparable to the feeling a pampered housewife has when her husband allows her to take the black card and go on a shopping spree?

@@dimitar297 Before I moved to NYC two years ago, I came from Los Angeles 22 times to run the NYC Marathon every year. It is NOT inconvenient for out of towners, not any more than any other trip to a marathon or Disney World or any other vacation trip. Silly.

Perfect timing to watch during my hour on the TM. Between you and Emily Heller I’m reversing my former lack of interest in running NY. MYCOACH also thinks I need to register for NY. Question: do the at-large runners chosen for the BITR Train to NYC have to be east coast residents? I’d love to try to get into that! Part of what’s intimidated me about NY (aside from the course difficulty) are the logistics.

it's not the most practical of advice, but I would say that it really does make things so much nicer if you can get access to a VIP bus and into the NB tent

Hi Kofuzi... Love your channel. Something missing in reviews is doing weight related tests!! I'm a male at 105lb max, and shoes work different for me than for most runners. Just a suggestion for my fave reviewer.
