one thing that will stick with me forever is just walking through varrock listening to the background music

this brought me to tears, the music i havent heard since 7 years ago i last logged in, this was the greatest game of all time, my childhood in a nutshell, and it was amazing

The saddest part about this is that he's playing on Internet Explorer. Those were the days.

I literally got tears in my eyes when you said "I didn't get any epic fireworks, I didn't get a skillcape, I didn't even get a party...but I don't think anything can replace the feeling I got that day." That's what it was all about man! No real rewards or recognition, just hard work for the pure sake of being proud of yourself. That's my favorite part.

RuneScape 2005-2007 will never be forgotten. These years are the best childhood memories running home from School to load up. Hours of mining. Nothing will replace old wildy

I played RuneScape from 2006-2011 those were good times but that 06-07 era man it felt so amazing as a 10 year old lol I still remember following my friend as he walked me around and showed me how to play.

2004- early 2007 the Golden Era of RuneScape after the wilderness update and the introduction of bounty hunter. The game went to shit the original community slowly began to die off..

My favorite memory of runescape was exploring the game for the first time i had made my first account in 04 lost it unfortunately but made another right before Halloween of 05 nothing can take the place runescape has in my heart love this game

God the nostalgia. I started RS in early 2005 and it's crazy how long it's been since RS2. I miss the old days.

hearing this old runescape music makes me smile because it reminds me of all the memories i had back then.

Bringing back SO many memories. Each glimpse I got of this game was bliss and helped me get through those long days I spent at school. I'm so excited to make history with this game! I hope the youtube community will be just as interesting for rs06!

Thank you for making such a beautiful video, honestly. I know this is 10 years old but from the music, to the browser to the old inventory/interface of our controls. WOW. Feelings of happiness, nostalgia and innocence drown me in a sea of my childhood, runescape. I am an avid player on OS today, but nothing will be as innocent and as lost as the days of 06-08. The lack of knowledge made for a friendlier community imo.

Now, I love RuneScape today. RS3 has been enjoyable for me. But even still, seeing all these images from those 'golden days' is pure nostalgia, and I love it. I started in 2008 and even then it was so different.

My first favorite memory was on Easter 2007. I was in fally just messing around, when all of a sudden, this guy was dropping stuff in the middle of no where. It was 1M, full mystic, and rune. Needless to say, that was the best feeling ever.

i saw a guy playing rs a few days ago and i needed him to help me create a clan, he said 'this is the first time i ever played rs' and i said 'bro... you missed so much'

MAN this was so long ago! I still remember so many unforgettable memories. Completing lost city and bank standing with my dragon longsword feeling like a boss. Being the leader of a clan and getting 30 members for clan wars. My first ever barrows item being a dharok full helm i bought off a dude. Even with OSRS being amazing, it will never obtain the same magic this had back in the day.

my favorite 99 too was fletching i worked so hard back then, took about 3-4 weeks for me, and yes high alching all those bows made so much cash man i miss old rs, so much nostalgia. the music you included almost made me cry

I love these videos. Makes me remember back when I was a noob. Things that day were so much funner even though I had no idea what to do. I remember getting 100gp and a skill to level 10 was an achievement for me, and in some ways, I preffered it back then. Please make some more of these, they're very interesting and bring back really good memories.

Man.. I remember playing 2006 Runescape with my brother and my cousin. See; We had three computers in our house, and almost every Friday night my cousin would come to visit my brother and I and we would spend the entire night playing Runescape on those three computers, talking about whatever came up in our minds. The night would usually turn into a "sleep-over" and we'd play into the wee hours of the morning. Good times.

Oh, these were the days... :,) I have so many memories playing with my friends, how amazed we were when we all became paying members... So many great times.

i took photos all the way since 2004, committed a big error, didnt back them up. Lost the whole lot and so many memories as well. This helps bring memories from nostalgiascape. Noone ever in the future will have the same experience as us through the technological advances from those basic graphics to what we have in eoc today. Long live nostalgia and the honest runescape community to what has made everyone who they are today. We will never forget these times, and no one can take it away from us.
