Something I'm excited about, mentioned towards the end of the stream: they're getting Steam Decks so they can optimize the game for the deck more. That's a win for anyone with a less powerful PC, and great news for me since I already play on deck

Casual Player here, I love LE, played Diablo 1-3 and POE since 1.0 enjoy LE more. Look forward to the game development. Great for casual players.

Absolutely. It is balanced around casuals. Which is what the 4k corruption ppl dont like :D

I would like to be able to skip video screensavers. When you leveling the tenth character, it is very annoying to re-watch Majasa and other screensavers. It takes time and usually doesn't make any sense.

As someone who has throuroughyly enjoyed LE so far, the only thing I really don't love is the strength of certain armor combinations mostly related to low life / ward builds. There is all this cool armor in the game but the strength of these items and the playstyle they prop up kind of force you in a direction if their is a ceiling you want to reach. I personally don't like low life builds in any game. It is even worse when the low life build doesn't even give you the thrill of wondering if you are going to die playing it. The low life is even more secure than a high life build which just doesn't make sense.

Ward is gonna get nerfed. Low life still works for the acolyte pretty well from a thematic perspective. But it wont be as strong in other builds Im sure.

I don't believe this game has balance issues. Games are for fun and this game is fun. The only people who should feel the game is unbalanced are people trying to compete for the leader board. If you aren't challenging the leader board then the game is just fun. Some people have fun with a build that makes the game challenging and some have fun being able to crush all the content. Both types of players have an option in this game. Balance is not necessary in all games. You have the choice to play a balanced build or a broken build and it won't hurt anyone unless you are trying to compete on a leaderboard. Even the leaderboard has enough variation of broken builds to compete with if that is what you want.

This game still needs considerable balancing help. I'm still wondering why they let this run for 1.0 with ward being so over-the-top and all the other balance issues and then waiting so long for the balance fix in 1.1. I think that killed a lot of hype for the game.

Ill be honest. I was surprised as well why they didnt nerf things before. Not even bugged builds like the detonating arrow marksman. Literally a bug. They just keep it in. Weird.

seriously runemaster high ward? how high 80k? yeah achievable but only on sandbag bosses..but only around that..how about Vk/pally that can reach 200k-300k ward without any hits required just by spamming hh? ffs rm single target dmg is so boring..the devs ddnt even do anything about the 5secs 6k shade kill or nerf/balance rogue classes....let alone the laggy party mode

Admittedly, idk why they didnt bring out balancing earlier and let it sit in this state for so long. A bit weird to me.
