I think what he said that resonates the most is all this plus the recklessness of youth. Touge Racing is very scary because at the limit there is no margin for error unlike on a race track. To push to that limit and not be afraid of destroying your car that you invested so much in or even serious injury yourself takes bravey that boarders on insanity.

Actually. he may have applied limiting the rev where he would max out his revs at 1k or 1.5k less than the required maximum rev range. then he would go all out at the end
