Thankyou thank you thank you thank you. I can't thank you enough Mark. It is criminal that there are not more RTR episodes on YT considering YT is 20 years old next year. The camera work on this season was also dreadful. Twice Peter went in and twice it was missed. Double Dare never appealed to me but as a child, I loved RTR. It was on The Real Ghostbusters level of fandom with the Shane Richie era being my favourite, even though from 2024 eyes, he did act a bit of a douche but I think he was just living up to an act to annoy the critics. Anyhow, my bucket list of RTR episodes is vast. From all of season 2 (season 1 hardly used the gunge tanks in risks, this episode used quite a bit). The Xmas episode from '93 when the battle of the soaps took place. That was an epic episode. Too see that again would be brilliant. It is just a shame all 4 years of RTR episodes sit in a BBC vault, unused. But thanks again Mark. If anyone has episodes of RTR, please upload them.

Seen through a modern lens, this is basically peak Alan Partridge - possibly an elaborate sketch written by Chris Morris. It’s even got a references to Noel Edmunds and the cast of El Dorado in the opening minutes. Unintentional comedy gold - thanks for sharing it!

This was a thoroughly entertaining show I don't understand why cbbc lied about bringing it back in 2022?

I always see you comment on RTR. Were you a big fan like me? If so, I would love to have a chat with you as it seems we're a minority. Everyone praised things like 'Fun House' but I could never get in to it and what made RTR stand out, especially the first 2 seasons and one of the reasons I loved it as a 7/8 year old when it started, was the different coloured gunges they would use each week. Granted they used a lot of yellow but they still mixed it up and the second season (my favourite season) the gunge was uber thick. 'House Party' thick but like here at Xmas, they mixed it up with white. Help my memory though with 2 questions. When Shane gets his "bodyguards" as part of his "posse", did they use to use the back 2 gunge tanks to throw kids in if the question was awnsered wrong? I thought that is why they had them 2 back gunge tanks. Also, how many times did Shane end up going in? The one episode I remember was where Peter pretends he has a broken leg and so Shane has to end up being Peter. Shane ends up going in a few times. Was there a second time? It turns around the end of the episode though as Shane finds out Peter is lying so Shane and kids end up throwing Peter in.
