Is it possible to recharge the lipo battery using a USB cable? Do I need to remove the battery from the camera?

Everything I can find says only charge lipo batteries using chargers designed to charge lipos or you're asking for trouble(injury up to and including death may occur). Even if it worked I personally would not trust it and highly advise against attempting to charge your lipo through your runcam with USB. Always use a lipo charger for safest operation. @@mnioml8672 the run cam seems to run hot I believe it even has a HOT! Warning on the back. I think your fine. : )
