I wish they never did... the devs are gonna get sued ^_^ they included Run Boy Run as part of their game, and the reward for gold is 100 cash and 25 Legend Points... we won't be getting paid, but since it is their anniversary event, and since they already did the most unethical violation in the history of business suicides having some amateur player design their event map, they ARE liable for that reward. if anyone wants to join the class action lawsuit let me know ^_^ I'll be handling this one myself just because Im so pissed off at techland for this

There needs to be a time trial in base Dl2 with this name and music. That would be nutty

for a linear checkpoint race it makes good use of the parkour mechanics and has a map that plays to its strengths, but cut the parts where you run for way too long (after warehouse and a couple in forest)

I honestly don't know how would anyone make that in 6 minutes, gold star feels a little overtuned. Other than that, this map blew my expectations away. I simply have no words in order to praise this map. I don't play Dying Light 2 but oh my God, the whole parkouring through different environments (jungle, lake, city, warehouse, tunnel, city, grassland, etc) and connecting the ending of the map to the beginning of the game itself? Like...this player Crex got some artistic mojo in them, i am beyond impressed. Jank aside with the ending, this map is a 9/10. Only complaint is the warehouse bit. You're just running in-between or atop the shelves, you have no reason to dwell in one place unless this is a competition. Sure it's a time attack competition, but it's like...lore-wise, it's pointless. Feels a tad stagnant running in the same room but with different elevations. Other than that, this map is very nearly perfect.

I completely agree, I might do another run with better routing sometime using the new parkour mechanics. the old parkour looking back at this video was so floaty and slow. the map would look even better with physical rough quick parkour, alongside some better routing to speed up the slower sections

@@nokimochischi have dying light 2. open the custom maps when it asks you then install the map via the menu and push play in the editor. there are tutorials for everything in the discord and on techlands youtube

I mean, good video and all, but whoever says dl2 parkour system is better than dl1 is so wrong lmao

its pretty easy, I made a relatively new video where I got 4:38 my best time is 4:11 you only need 6:30 to beat it.

This run boy run, is now required for a weekly challenge... and I truly hate it!!! Absolutely boring AF... just give up making suff like this

no, its a great map imo. crex did a good job considering the tools are in early beta and he is a single guy. I'd love to see something you have made tho, any map in particular?
