3:37 Tiles and Tribulations looks like some kind of Klax Knockoff, where you're supposed to drop the tiles from the paddle into the empty holes below, get 3 (or more) of the same colour in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally to clear those tiles.

So there should be a key (or button) that drops the tile from the paddle?

@@adventuresinnostalgia425 Yes, just found a version on Internet Archive, where it uses the keyboard arrows, left/right move the paddle, down arrow drops the UPPERMOST tile to the holes below, and the up arrow key rotates the tiles on the paddle.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback and support. I would like to expand my Windows 3.x content but it's difficult to find the time. I'm still trying to make up my mind on the topic for the next video. What sounds more interesting. Shell replacements like MS BOB and PacBell Navigator or program interoperability like being able to drag and drop text and images between programs?

By the way, the correct way to say the name of Win32s is "Win-32-S", not "Win-32s". The S stands for subset, as Win32s is a subset of the full Win32 API.

I went all out on my Win311 installation and installed way more than just that. I also installed the Calmira XP shell, along with startup and shutdown screens, XP style min/max/close buttons, icons, sound effects, etc. When I'm running it, it looks almost indistinguishable from Windows XP. Good video though 👍 I might have to try some of the programs you've tested here one of these days.

I recall using a Windows 3.11 replacement that looked identical to Windows 95. I did not know there was an XP lookalike shell. This is a game changer. Are you aware of any other shell replacements for Windows 3.11 besides MS BOB and Pac Bell Navigator?

I remember a LOT of games being made/written to run on MS-DOS* even though Windows 95 was out, partly because of how many people still had DOS/Win 3.1(1fw) machines. Partly because of hardware issues. 1997 seemed to be the last year for Major MS-DOS releases.
