Need that Mike Evans / Chris Godwin combo to stay in Tampa.

Bucs aint getting rid of him now. Local fans and outlets have known this long before the Draft.

No way unless they make an offer we can’t refuse. Godwin is a staple on that offense. Not only is he an elite receiver, who did have a down year, but canales wasn’t using him properly imo, but he’s a great man in general and great for the community.

Because a man trying to prove his worth for the next team or contract is very valuable he will give his all no way he’s traded

I would take the Patriots phone call. McMillian is the back up plan for 2025. I do not see anyway to get Godwin under an acceptable price after this year. I choose Mike Evans over Chris Godwin. If McMillian turns out not to be the man try again. Bring in a slot receiver free agent for 2025. Godwin is a chain mover. 27M is a lot of money to be a chain mover.

Oohh. It's all your fault, James. Reality is that Godwin could be gone after this year but I think Bucs would like to have him for this year. Maybe they could extend Godwin on a cap friendly number. You know, we still have Bruce "You ain't going nowhere" Arians as advisor. And Licht has inherited that attitude as well.

Idk if we let him go next year we get nothing in return. But this is a really tough decision, so I think they will pass and try to keep the team together. They should have done this during free agency if anything so we could use the cap space on other positions

Age dont mean anything. I just saw a video of TO running a 40, and his hands are still dangerous. Why not keep the Evans/Godwin duo together. To let go of chris...i think...would be a mistake.

The contenders trade away players for draft capital. Hopefully, we will start following that trend

It wouldn’t make sense to trade for him after the draft for the patriots cause they aren’t no where close to competing they should use this year to evaluate what they have plus they have cap space so why trade for a guy now when you’re not competing when you can prob sign him next year if he walks in fa besides I love Godwin but he’s not gonna bring like a aj brown difference to a team he would definitely be very good but I like him as our number 2 and maybe he take over for Evans when he walks away if we end up signing him to an extension after this year

That Evans contract sent Godwin packing. Either now or next year.

McMillan is our future he is the next Antonio brown with height

CG is too valuable. Leads the Bucs in pts/target per drive and is also 2nd since entering the league behind Hill. We just need to feed him even more. If he takes away targets from Evans, we score 0.69 pts more per drive, we score 14% more on drives, we convert 8,7% more first downs and gain 2.5 wins per season (though it´s not sustainable over a season)

They can't afford to move on from Godwin until Palmer, MacMillan or someone else proves they can fill his shoes. Hopefully a second season with Mayfield will bring more chemistry between the two... but if Baker is going to be around after 2024, they NEED NEED NEED a 6'4 clone of Evans opposite of him... no more of these 5'11 shifty dudes.

No way! Godwin is equally as important to our team as Mike Evans in his own way. What makes him so special are his great hands, can catch in tight windows, he’s a very physical player and can block really well, Super Bowl experience, plus he’s back in the slot, a team captain, he and Baker have great chemistry. Sometime take a look again at the Green Bay Game, or the Jacksonville Game to see Chris Godwin in action or refresh your memory about how he reached his one thousand yards. What do you think about Godwin renegotiating his contract after this season. I do think this will be one of his best. Go Bucs

Yes u will trade Godwin get a player in return and with the money saved pay the ruckies,he will be 28 and the Bucs can not affort him beside he will walk away next year via free agency with nothing in return,to me this is no brainer and smart football

I'll give the the Pats a 2nd rounder and Godwin for JC Jackson

Should it happen? Absolutely, as much as it bites. Not getting him back next year, we aren't contenders this year (no matter how deluded we want to be). Trade him while he's still high value and we need cap space. Will it happen? Probably not, no

2. Things!! The bucs, can't afford to let a player!! Godwin caliber to go, for whatever reason!!!.. ~ we're talking a top 10/15. Receiver in the NFL. #14 is a Dawgg!!!!!! Without Chris, Evans will struggle tremendously; they both compliment each/ other {James} you fumbled this one!!!!!.. ~ bad 😡
