No, they didn't. If you understand Spanish, you will know they were toying with them. Joe's team, just give up at the start of the battle. (And i know this is a REALLY late comment but meh.)

Love how the spanish have been complaining about the gameplay of each other during the whole tournament... ugh... (I'm from spain, and i was getting angry hearing them arguing), not to mention when they win they despised the other team. Not good sportmanship on that team, not cool guys, not cool. At least Angry and the others got some real fun XD

As someone who watches the occasional video of his combined with the fact that he does collabs when other people that I watch, I can say he isn't bad to me.

this was more entertaining than the other last 2 matches, really good

Spain team wasnt annoying you need to understand spanish and know the humor this guys make , all the people saying they complained and stuff , well thats how they coordinated . Angry joe team had a chance and decided to throw it away by making them seem more experienced at the game , angryjoes team was just a waste of effort .

they stood no chance. Spain were all really experienced at this whereas joe had barely touched it, crendor had dabbled for a few hours and only jared had played for a good amount. The teams were really unbalanced, its ok to have some good players but whole teams of them is dull.

***** I agree, the first round of games were fun to watch. Pewds vs Joe, neither team very good and both funny so it was awesome to watch. Spain vs creatures, couldnt understand a word the spanish team said and i still thought that set was great because the skill lvl of both teams was close. Then the last set......great team vs a buncha noobs.....wasnt even slightly amusing aside from joes suiciding charges.

Besides there is nothing that suggests they would 'win' in an all random god composition every round. They weren't as amazing as you make them out to be.

All the teams should at least been measured in power by Polaris or just someone who knows this game very well and then it should have been put together according to some sense of equality. This felt like Gods vs. Puny Humans. Not enough excitement about who will win. Everybody knew the Spanish guys (almost nobody will subscribe to through Polaris helping them, because they won't speak the 1st world language, so what's the point?) would win after the 1st round of the finals. Could have improved on doing research before setting up a tournament, Polaris. :)

Practice or no I don't think Joe and team still had nearly the hours logged. That said there is no reason to insult the Spaniards for speaking you know Spanish. I would have liked some subs though. But I not sure there will be enough views for the effort. edit: I tried the youtube CC translator thing and it doesn't translate well or the Spanish team was saying just randon words

I wonder how many people watched this cause they care about a spanish smite team that personally I have never heard of, or because they want to see youtubers like angryjoe, projared, and crendor play together and have fun with the chance of them winning. For a game that isn't very big competitively like Dota 2 for example in a tournament that is suppose to get people to be interested in the game, which after this is the exact opposite.

The amount of "lost-in-translation" going on in the comments is hilarious. Neither team were being dicks! The Spanish guys were giving each other shit and sarcasm is apparently actually a foreign language to most people. Also what would an AngryJoe video be without a little anger from Joe?

Team AngryJoe decided to go out having fun and not just keel over, that's the true competitive fighting spirit. to quote VGHS "it's all about the game" they were designed for people to have fun not to start fights and arguments.

People are complaining because the first bracket was the closest to being balanced team wise. The finals were just terrible and this was set up very poorly. That being said only the 3rd game of the final set was even fun to watch. The last line of the post is really ignorant tbh, this is the internet no matter what you do on it it will start fights and arguments.

Either google translate is racist, or all the Spanish comments are really nasty. Yes, the Spanish team won and they should be commernded for that, the American youtubers were completely out of their league, but they were also extremely entertaining and having fun, which is of much more interest to me. All the Spanish comments I'm reading, thanks to the translate button, basically say "Oh, Americans are terrible people!" Either because they don't speak Spanish or just because our entertainers are not as experienced as the Spanish ones.

the Spanish part i'ts poorly translated, i mean they say "madre mia" and GT puts "holly s...t" and "madre mia" it's not an insult not even a nasty word or phrase... so yes GT it's a little bit racist but well... this last game was just for show and if you want to know the Spanish guys are just playing for fun not taking any of the round seriously so they sing and do goofy stuff. hope you find this helpful
