Very informative video, I just saw this player by ebay for 19€ and thought about if I buy it or not. Now you helped me to make the descision to buy it. How is the bass on the headphones or earphones when plugged to the mp3 ?

I see this video was quite a while ago but I just got one and I can't figure out how to put music on it. Would you mind telling me what platforms u used and how u did it?

For future people looking for an answer: When on the main menu, click the right arrow > until all of the icons change. You will then see a bluetooth option. Click it and then search equipment and pair.

No I gave it away a while back, but it was good while I had it.

That's a pretty cool MP3 player it's got a lot of functions that's cool as Bluetooth 4. 0 some MP3 players don't have that

Thanks for the vid. Does the bluetooth connection stay strong if you put the device in your pants/ shorts pocket? One of my cellphones doesn't lose the bluetooth connection if I put in my pocket, but the connection on another older one starts acting up if I put the phone in my pocket.

I have the Ruizu X50 and when in Bluetooth mode you cannot shuffle the music.

Sorry for disappointed you guys.. But after using it about 3 months the battery drain very fast.. It only last about 10-15 minutes now even with full charge.. Gonna go back to sony..

I've had my Ruizu X50 for about 1 month so far and works great. Hopefully the same scenario that happen to you doesn't happen to me. And even though this player is nice I would prefer my old Sansa Clip+ or a Sony Walkman. But Sony products are expensive and not affordable for the average consumer.

Yes, you can.If you want create or rename a playlist, you need do it on your computer, and go to “folder” in the mp3 interface to find your own playlist.And any audio files with MP3, WMA, APE, WAV, FLAC format are played well on RUIZU mp3 player.

Yes, the bluetooth version of this mp3 player is 4.1. It can easily pair with any bluetooth version which version is under 4.1

How do I add album artwork to my mp3s? I use mp3tag and some of my files add the album artwork successfully and other times they don't?

Yo, someone posted a solution today on Amazon. " I finally figured out was wrong. Some of my files where version ID3v2.4 and those ones even though it had artwork embedded didn't show up on the player. I found out that version ID3v2.3 works and now the art shows up on the player. Also in mp3 tag you can add multiple album art to your files such as front cover, back cover, and some other covers, anyways it's recommended to use only the front cover and remove the others because in some mp3 players this can prevent the album art from showing. Also yes you can use Windows media player to sync music the the mp3 player but if the songs are v2.4 and not v2.3 it won't help with the art. I will probably just drag and drop music as I had before but windows media player is useful to create your own music playlist!!" "Oh I also forgot to add that some mp3 players accept embedded art and some accept a separate jpg or png file labeled I think cover or folder. Anyways I tried adding seperate album art before using jpg and png and some of this image files I labeled cover and others folder, I tried multiple combinations but nope separate art doesn't work if anyone is wondering." I tried it and it works. So now I can find cheap music CD's on sale and rip them and not have to resort to using ITUNES!

Hi Jojo, sorry to tell you the Mp3 Player bluetooth could not connect with the bluetooth of your phone. It can only connect with Bluetooth speakers/headphones/earphones under 4.1

Plug in the charger cord into the mp3 player. And pit the other end in the computer. Then you can drag and drop.

WIsh I'd seen this question a year ago. You probably have it figure out (or have given up) at this point, but those SD card slots are designed (for the most part) to be spring loaded. When inserting, you have to depress until you feel it click into place, and that usually requires going a hair deeper than flush with the player surface. It may be achievable with a fingernail, or you may need some additional tool, like the tip of a VERY small standard (non-Philips head) screwdriver.
