I heard the name came from its colour, its never clear due probably to the soil as you mentioned. there is also another Ruiru river in Nyeri or Muranga where the famous mau mau battle was fought

Rural urban migration is the cause of few elderly people there , remember most people in ruiru have bought land there and migrated from other places,so few elderly guys

Toll, Kahawa Sukari, Kahawa Wendani, Githurai 45, etc all attribute to the population, and are also part of Ruiru City. I forgot Tatu City. The population demographics also make it worthy of a city status because two wards have MCA's from other communities besides the predominant Kiuks. Again, I was counted in Wendani where I have lived for 9 years

@@Villagetotowntv Simple logic, how many consituencies are in Ruiriu city. Kisumu city has 3 cpnsituencies, East, west and Central. Add their population and you will get Kisumu city. How many consituencies are in Ruiru... Is it Ruiru and Juja? or Ruiru alone. If Ruiru alone, then Ruiru population should be equivalent to Ruiru city's population. Census are just human propagation.

Rongai need to be a City.. Ruiru is a residential area of Nairobi just like Rongai or Mlolongo. ... Because i can't see any CBD of a city there in your video... Everything is shambolic

How many consituencies are under Ruiru town? Jagged up things full of exaggeration. 500B is impossible for the Uhurus. The top ten richest africans dont own that much . All these about Ruiru is nonsensical, how can one consituency town has more population than the towns itself. The rest of Ruiru town residents stay in which consituency?
