To be fair to Rythian, Nilesy's Bojack looks almost like the Tex Avery wolf character. That and a lot of old cartoons had characters chomping on cigars.

8:49 I LOVE his eyes. I always found it funny that spider-legs Darth Maul is only in like one or two episodes, and then he goes back to normal legs, but the design was so wacky and/or badass (depending on who you ask) that it's what stuck in people's minds.

Revisited Superted with small child recently, didn't realise from watching it originally, it's made in partnership with Welsh heritage and tends to feature local Welsh countryside or themes? First episode is 'save the Peregrine falcon eggs from poachers!'
