Funny that while watching your video, I have a band aid on the same finger. In any case, given the level of additives in oils and solvents 'now-a-days', I always wear Nitrile gloves over thin cotton hand sock inserts. I dry crack easily with repeated exposure. thanks,

You're Fired! No bore guide on the cleaning rod.

Question ..... Wouldn't it be a good practice to use a bore guide when running the rod down the barrel as to not touch or damage the lands and grooves ? I have a bore guide for my Ruger#1V in .220 Swift , It was one of the first things the gunsmith told me to get for cleaning when I bought the rifle 25 years ago... just saying
