Hello Laura, since 2012ive watched you, while I was pregnante , I always watched. I had I girl and when she was born , the hospital stay was long ,so I watched you. And as soon as I turned on Laura vitals my little girl was kicking in her sleep. And she is two now , and as soon as she hears your into music she comes running, and she watches til the video is over. I just thought I'd let you know we love you, from Utah. Many blessing to you and joe.
I am a Caribbean girl that make these every year for Christmas for the past 10 yrs or more.I grew up in Brooklyn and use to buy them often. Great job!!
The world is your homemade garlic dill pickle..lol! LOVE this version of Rugelach- esp. apricot jam! Made me think of my family growing up and was very touched. Recipes are adapted/interpreted according to regions, families etc. For example- we were in the South and used pecans instead of walnuts. I think that you communicate that so beautifully on your channel. There's no right or wrong way to do this. So appreciative of your inclusiveness of all cultures and how you embody & encourage the "heart" and wonderful stories connected with food.
My parents make Rugelach around Christmas time every year, and I must say it's one of the many things we look forward to during the holidays!! They are so delicious!
Laura you were my BESTEST FRIEND o thanksgiving. I made your turkey ur mashed potatoes ur classic stuffing your gravy ur Mac and cheese and ur cranberry sauce. I even made cranberry sauce muffins the next day!!! My family loved them. Ur awesome💓💓
These look amazing!!!! I usually also add some cinnamon sugar on top before baking and I use raspberry preserves instead of the traditional apricot.
"The day someone comes over and judges me for the size of my cookies is the day I'm gonna question our friendship." hahaha
laura my absolute favorite part of your videos is when you taste what you made OMG the gestures you make... Hahaha they just wanna make me go throught the screen and eat with you hahaha. You are amazing! Thanks for the recipe
My mother taught me how to bake these. I've been baking these for YEARS! Huge crowd pleaser indeedy!
Thank you very much for the recipe! I saw a lot rugelah recipes, but I could not find a recipe without yeast. Your version is the best! Thanks again for sharing!
I LOVE Rugelch! Thanks for this recipe!
You did a great job Laura. I love using grape jam in addition to apricot. Thank you for sharing you version.
Am making these for afternoon tea with my friend, can't wait.
Oh my goodness I have been waiting for a recipe looking for a recipe like this one! This is perfect this is exactly what I was looking for what a blessing thank you! PS you’re so fun to watch!
Love all your shows!
Rugelach are my absolute favorite cookie ever...My grandma made them and I make them every year for Christmas/Hanukkah! Your recipe is very similar to mine...but I add a bit of lemon zest to the dough and mix up the fillings and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar on top of egg wash! Happy Holidays :)
I made your chocolate pecan pie and regular pecan pie for thanksgiving and everyone loved it! It was so good and amazing! And it was so fast and easy! Thanks Laura love your videos!
i LOVE recipes that don't have very many ingredients! and this looks and sounds amazing! definitely trying this! :)
Thank you for the recipe 💜
Hi Laura, Those look very yummy!!! I Have made these for years and my technique evolved over time, making them flaky like a puff pastry\pie dough. I use cold butter and cream cheese pulse it all in a food processor and wrap it in plastic and like you chill over night, and my most popular one is nutella smeared on the dough and I sprinkle mini chocolate chips over that then cut and shape, then I pop them in the freezer as I compile the other batches, before baking I brush the egg was and roll the tops in turbinado sugar before baking.
Hey girl! Totally watch all of your videos with my 7 1/2 month old son. He loves you and tries to eat the screen! Its pronounced Ru (like hotel Rwanda) Guh- Luch (with the CH like flegm in your throat lol) :) Have tons of Jewish recipes from generations back if you ever want.

Hi Laura! I know you are not a chef but you do inspire cooking which I think is great. I have retired from the Food Industry and sincerely hope many people use your recipes and just plain cook! I have watched many of your shows and find you to be intelligent and articulate. For someone from NJ you are OK.....

Please make Mango Cake my grandmother's birthday is coming up and she loves mango cake also this year I wanted to make it for her! PLEASE make MANGO CAKE!!!!
Hi Laura. These are a staple for me during the holidays. I fill mine with a fruit butter instead of jam, pecans, sugar, and cinnamon. I also roll out the dough onto a kitchen towel covered in sugar instead of using an egg wash. This gives the cookies a crispy texture.
I am super excited about this, my best friend loves them and now I can make them for his birthday!!! :-)
beautiful recipe! love your video's very much :)

I love rugelach. They are scrumptious. Love the various fillings. How about hamentashen? They are great too, with poppy seed or fig.

Ramiro Rojas-Lara why release the video before the recipe is ready?. and how can it take 48 hours to write a website post?!?. And finally, why not link directly to the recipe on the video, its easy to make the video private until the recipe is up and ready, then change the video to public, and everything will fit together nicely.
Here in the UK I have used the same dough recipe spread with home made damson jam, then sprinkled mixed chopped nuts, raisins soaked in orange juice, brown sugar and cinnamon with great yummy success, I then dust with icing sugar once cooled. X
Omg Laura totally not related to food but I LOVE that nail polish colour. Could not take my eyes off your nails haha
Love ur vids their amazing
They look amazing. My husband brought one of those home and they were good. Then wondered what it's called so I can make them. Voila Laura you're awesome. I checked on your website for the recipe. It's not there yet I want to make these today. What time will it be up? My husband wants to go buy some ingredients that I don't have.
My great Aunt used to make Cream filled horn cookies. Like the big horns you see in the super market. I know she used a filo dough to wrap around a rounded wooden clothes-pin. I think they are also called clothes-pin cookies. Would love to see that if you've ever made them! She'd baked them clothes pin and all then quickly slid the dough off the pin, let them cool, then she filled the hole with like a fluffy cream filling! What I wouldn't do for one those cookies now! They were heaven!
Awww, Laura, your just a sweetheart and beautiful, great cookies😘😘❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
I love rugelach with raspberry jam and mini chocolate chips!
Hi laura please please please make some yema cake. Its so delicious and very very perfect this time of the year. And my personal favorite too. :)))
I coat the dough with room temperature margarine or butter then sprinkle a mix of brown sugar, cinnamon and coca!!! Heavens!!
Laura I love to use fig preserves in mine.
Oh, by the way, made your pancetta/onion brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving. Everybody said they were the best EVER. And some of them don't even like brussels sprouts!
We make something like this around the holidays except we usually just take the left over pie crust and use that with the cinnamon sugar filling and we call them French horns...we may have totally just made that up but I love them and they always remind of the holidays! Happy Holidays Laura!! :)

My family did the same but with Brown sugar, butter and coconut and we call them teacher legs??! Lol
In Israel we say Rogalach and we usually there is a chocolate filling :)
I would love to see a broccoli, & rice casserole! ♡♡
Laura, you surely have a knack with doughs. Lovely recipe, and good try on pronouncing Rugelach! I'm getting my husband a Breville pizza oven for Christmas, maybe you can advise on a foolproof pizza dough that we can make a batch of and keep in the fridge. Each pizza requires a hand stretched 10" round....
Can you start a homemade chinese food demos in the new year? sweet and sour chicken-general tso-sesame chicken-chinese pizza etc..... love your channels..i am right past hammonton nj!!!!!

Filipino food please laura :D big fan of yours here!!
Publix supermarket has a great assorted one. One has a cinnamon cream cheese filling. Yum
"I forgot to show you the inside!" Laura, we know you wanted that extra one, nice try LOL!!! ;)
Laura the g- in the name should sound like g and the ch in the end isn't silent. And in Israel they are made from yeast dough...similar to croissants and filled with chocolate or cinnamon. when i make this version i fill it with finely chopped walnuts and little bit of sugar(nut filling)
Great video! The pronunciation was pretty good, too! Maybe you want to do latkas, the potato pancake commonly eaten on Hanukkah?
I love it C:
They look so good. Can u substitute the preserve with nutella.
Yummy! I eat them quite a lot here in Israel but yours look so much better! I will try them these holidays. Try eat with NUTELLA filling as well :)
laura your purple spatula caught my eye💜😍😁

Any ideas for vegetarian friendly side dishes during the holidays? I'd VERY much appreciate it(:
i had made them in the past your recipe was the same i used except i used mini chocolate chips.
Laura! Please do your take on Ooey gooey butter cake
Hi Laura, can i put in on, like Caramel or Nutella? tks for the response
Laura a tips: on the plastic wrap box there is two like flips that you can puch in so the roll doesn't come out when you pull the plastic!!!
Hi Laura in the Kitchen I haven't watched the whole episode yet, because I just HAD to say that was so cute, the way you tried to pronounce the word (which is BTW in Yiddish, not in Hebrew)... the right way is RO-GA-LACH (CH is pronounced like CH in the word CHABAD, I know, people in the US and other countries have trouble pronouncing my own name, that's how I explain it to them... ;-) we (Jews...) never had a season for them, my parents used to buy them for almost every Shabat (Jewish Sabbath) until we were fed up with them... I don't think I ever saw a dairy Rogala.. there's a time for everything, I guess. anyway, LOVE your channel! thanks for all of the hard work.
I make these but with Nutella. Simply delicious.....
Yummy in my tummy
I would like to see your version of Hungarian Goulash please..
Loved your video !!!!!! You should spell it like Ro-ga-lach and it's usually comes with chocolate filling :)
We use chunky applesauce and brown sugar and cinnamon in this recipe I will have to try it this way
Hi Laura ! Is there anything that van substitute for the cream cheese ? btw I love you !!
