They just won the 2023 World Cup in France!

The Boks have won the world cup 3 times, that last clip was showing them celebrating the win in Japan in 2019. This game is Rugby Union, rugby league is similar, but a different game altogether

Rugby actually requires a lot of skill , you must know how to hit those lines, which body positions you must use to win collisions even set pieces like line outs and scrums require great body positioning, you must be able to pass properly coz you don't just through the ball and another thing is that you must be very very agile to play rugby

@@unathisilo4941 I'm not saying it's going to be easy. However we did just beat them, triple crown and six nations. We have a good bunch of lads. No big names but young talent and old heads, a potent mixture. Biggest threat I see coming from Argentina and of course the All Black's.

Every country has club sides which play each other and also, they play club sides from neighbouring countries. Those competitions are called “The Super 14” for the southern hemisphere and “The European Champions Cup” for the northern hemisphere. However club teams generally have long historic rivalries with clubs which are geographically close to them, called local derbies. Of course, this is the same as most sports. From these club sides each country selects players to play from their national team. These national teams often have names by which they are often known, for example The Springbok, The All Blacks, The Pumas. The Rugby World Cup is played this autumn in France and you can find details of that online. The pinnacle of our international game, so we’ll worth watching!

@@GoddyGE I should have added that in addition to these top level professional teams there are those descending in level and ability. They go from second tier professional via part time professional to complete amateurs and even those who just turn out for a run around and a few pints after. Then there are schools and universities which play the game. So you see there is depth across all ages and abilities and this relates to all major playing nations.

Fútbol, 90 mins of pretending you're hurt. Rugby, 80 mins pretending you're not.

@@GoddyGE Nigeria has a Rugby Union Team but has never qualified for the World Cup. They are currently ranked 69 in the World. Kenya is doing really well in 7s Rugby, a different format of the sport. Nigeria also has a Rugby 7s team. With South Africa the sport is a grassroots sports, every school has it where I think Nigeria may lean more towards football/soccer.
