I swear, as he ages, his voice just gets sweeter and sweeter, better and better. The way he holds notes, the smiles each note is wrapped in, the sheer range - I simply adore this voice and this beautiful man!
You can't listen to him sing without smiling. Rufus has a wonderful voice and this song is perfect for a spring afternoon.

What a wonderful comment and congrats on your baby! If you want to fast forward in life, I did the same thing to my 6 year old and 2 year old, both in the womb to Rufus, both sing, both love music, both can dance to his rhythms…my 6 year old can sing the lyrics to this song. The best is us connecting over his music. Many blessings ❤❤❤ They sure do grow up fast!

He is one of the most great composer ... music and paroles.! He knows how to sing a song .... I love listening his music ! ,
Rufus Wainwright is the musical equivalent of Ray Bradbury. The way both writers pull you into their worlds by reminding you of what you might be missing in your own if you didn't stop and smell the dandelions along the way and fully enjoy and appreciate the extraordinarily rare peaceful afternoons in your lifetime.
This song makes my heart ache, just to think about having to leave life behind and say goodbye to the person you love most. Can't be more of a heartbreak at at time of death. How cruel death is. Rufus is so incredible to put these feelings to song.

I was fortunate to see Rufus in Atlanta with my husband. Maybe 10 years ago but seems like yesterday. My wish and hope is the last face I see is my husbands face. This song speaks to me in so many ways. Between sex, death and trying to keep the kitchen clean well I would not change a thing...
