Exactly the same here. Had to stop what i was doing and listen. It’s one thing to capture an audience who came to hear you. It’s another altogether to capture those who weren’t even listening.

I always play this song when I'm feeling overwhelmed or worried.

How is possible to create music so melodic? This is so out of the box even for you and I love it! I’m going to drink some good Cab and listen to your entire album tonight! What a great gift to music! Rufus, you’re an absolute genius!

The gods were really trying to prove something when they delivered Rufus Wainwright to Earth. There are songs of his that I've been listening to for 20 years, and still they're utterly absorbing and transcendent. They change everything and remind me of things I can't describe, but which I need to remember in order to really keep living instead of just falling into the empty motions of routines.
