I've seen Rufus twice and agree. And I saw Brandi Carlile this past summer sing this song. Both are my favorites. Please, take a listen to her singing it here on You Tube as well as Eva Cassidy who is deceased. Thanks, Bill

Hey all... this was fantastic (just saw it on the Veeps platform. Ended 11:59pm Sun 6/13). I wasnt paying attention to the player part itself, but he had just done Get Happy... with KC, and I think they had literally just finished, and it was 11:59pm, and the stream ended. Did I miss the last few minutes? Any final songs or was it just interesting timing?

I believe there was one last song, I was about to watch it again not realizing it was 11:59 eastern time, sad I didn't realize this i would have liked to see the duets with Kristen, some of his singles, and his sister's song 1 more time. Watched it with my dad and loved it.

I'm definitely up there over that damn rainbow with this interpretation ! Your voice is still as powerful as it was in 2006 but now it's much more warmer and enveloping. Nothing against this artist but its far too slow. I get he is trying to do something different but its just not working

@Linda Pietrasz I'm here for all things Judy Garland, Undoubtedly one of the world's greatest vocal talents. Jealous ? Hardly...I comment with some experience. Let me explain, I am a classically trained opera singer, teacher and vocal trainer and have been for over 40 years. I have performed in more than twenty different countries and won several prestigious awards. We are talking popular music here though, but the same criticism applies. Believe me in Mr Rufus's case his notes are consistently off centre, his voice lacking in modulation and colour, It is something akin to an old trumpet...rather Dull & Unpolished. He is a deluded owner of a very lack lustre and bland instrument that holds little appeal except maybe to those afflicted by the undiscerning ear.

I did not find any videos of you singing, performing, or composing on your own channel despite all the claims you have made in this post thread. You sure write a lot, but there does not seem to be anything at all to back it up. People suggested you are jealous because it is the exact opposite situation with Mr. Wainwright. Instead of being a KZread commenter who claims to have a successful career and superior skill, he actually has a successful career that has spanned decades.
