rudy is THE SINGLE BEST MOVIE EVER and this is one of the best parts

Obviously people that don't think this is a phenomenal speech, and a phenomenal delivery from Chelcie Ross don't get it. Sometimes the people that say the least, say the most. You just don't get it ....

those locker room moments with the team are so special, no one knows until they actual see it for themselves.

there is inpiaration for Rudy simply because of when he says "you'll remember it for the rest of your lives."

SO MUCH truth in the fact that the last game for seniors will be remembered by them for the rest of their lives. My final game it's pretty much the only one I remember clear as day.

One problem: I don't believe Notre Dame has ever put player's names on the backs of their jerseys. And yes, the coach is Eddie Harris from the first "Major League". The actor's name is Chelcie Ross. Between this film, "Major League", and "Hoosiers", Ross has been in three of the best sports movies ever.

The coach said to Rudy in his office "We're up for the national championship every year Rudy, you know that". Rudy got play his Junior and Senior year which was 1974 and 1975. So did Notre Dame win the National Championships those two years or not? Would have kinda sucked to be Rudy in seeing that you were benched because your team was "supposed" to be winning the NC, but didn't. Outcome?

what the hell?!?!?! why does everyone always have to compare soccer and football. all of these speeches aren't about football, they are about sport and the idea of competition and everyone saying soccer sux, and football sux, just destroys the idea of competition, football and soccer both are great sports that take immense skill and work and everyone should be able to accept that

My teacher is married to Dan Devine's nephew... In the movie it makes him look like a mean punk coach but really he was a great guy. he had this dog for many years but just because (when he was with the packers) the packers didn't do good. a fan, of the packers, found his house killed his dog and hung it up. Freak.

hahahah dude, ND is not the best program. They play shit teams and have shit schedules. The only reason why they even have winning seasons is they play cupcake teams. All those games are just 2nd rate college competition so they can pad up their stats. Its actually quite sad considering even though they play 2nd rate and 3rd teams, the past two season, they could barely win at all.

i love this movie, but this is a horrible speech. Good actor and everything, just written horribly. Maybe it was meant to highlight the differences between him and Ara? anyway, the rest of the movie is awesome.
