over a year ago i posted on twitter that i loved rudy francisco. i didn't know, but a boy that i really liked at the time saw it and listened to every poem of rudy's he could find. we became good friends last september and i began to send him links to these videos, but little did i know he had already seen them. he went out of his way to watch them so that he could talk to me about them. he didn't tell me about that for a while into our relationship because he was embarrassed. we've been together for almost eight months and, in a way, rudy brought as together.

Love Poem Medley by Rudy Francisco When I asked you for a Chai latte, what I meant to say was: ”I was walking past. I saw you in the window. I only came in here because I had to know what your voice sounded like.” But instead of saying that... Instead of saying that, I got really nervous and just ordered the first thing on the menu. I don’t even know what the fuck “Chai” is.. Or a latte, for that matter. When God made you, He cussed for the first time. He turned to an angel, gave him a high five and said: “Goddamn, I’m good!” You are that beautiful. I spent the last five days tryna figure out how I’m gonna introduce myself to you properly, and I think I’ve finally figured it out. It’s gonna be something like... “Hi.” That’s all I got so far, but I think it’s a good start. You see, I want that... I want that my friends think I’m crazy kind of love. That reckless kind of love. A lot of the slam poetry artists I've recently listened to sound so much like Rudy... and I always come back to these videos because no one brings out the emotion as much as this guy!

This is one of my favourite poems that I came across randomly. I have replaid it many times. The feelings and emotions of words draw me intrinsically to that pure love. I used to to replay this poem as I multitasked at home.

Not much of a love poet? You could have fooled me…..WOW, simply wonderful: I smiled the entire poem, trying to visualize every word that you shared with us.

This is just pure LOVE, unconditional love....There is just no words for how this poem makes me feel...
