Beautiful voice. Soothing

One of my favorite songs, so much so that I purposefully rationed myself over the years so I would not tire of it. It was a number one hit when I was in sophomore or junior year of high school and it was a WOW song then.

I really like this song 🎧🎶 I think you were a bit harsh on the backup vocals, to me everything fell into place from the lead by Ruby to the Romantics and also the instrumentation. Come on Rel you know you loved it. Give it a second listen.

I recognised when she sang “Our Day Will Come” but not the rest. Lovely voice, and I can definitely imagine kd lang singing this.

Everyone seems to put out a greatest hits album, I think that was their only number one. Although they had a unique sound and some other nice songs you may like, “My Summer Love” “We’ll Meet Again,” Lonely Boy,” to name a few and actually they did an interesting version of “Hurting Eachother,” before the Carpenters made it famous. Ruby I thought did have a great voice, very distinctive, unique tone.

Eh, it’s okay I guess. I do agree that ruby has a great voice, but I think of the song as being a “gloopy snooze”. there just isn’t much here that excites me. But just like the rest of these songs, it did hit #1, so maybe my opinion is an unpopular one.

I agree, not the proper backup arrangement. Maybe was the reason it's not a favorite of mine. Tho Ruby has a, beautiful voice, probably was successful.
