I think Jaune went from 6'1" -> 6'2"/6'3"-ish. With Volume 7 out, I'm just going to peg Jaune at 6'3" and don't think he is going to get any taller. Ruby still looks 5'2" tho :3 so Jaune is roughly 1 foot taller than Ruby in this clip

The voice actor was inexperienced when holding a high voice for a while. But as the series went on she was able to hold the voice. And you can tell by how many voice cracks there are in the first volume compared to the rest

I noticed he has a sad expression on his face that when Ruby's around he perks up. It shifts into a smile. Maybe he doesn't want her in particular to worry about him....also she genuinely one of the people that can get him to smile. He's gotten better after visiting Pyrrha's statue at least....not completely self loathing of himself at least anymore. Still I don't think has completely gotten over his death. Cinder needs to die for that to happen. Much like Yang and Blake is slowly happening ESPECIALLY after Adam's death. For example their flirting more in vol 7. The same could happen for Jaune and Ruby...though being their the main protagonist...things would be more different with them.

Yeah, and I like how their friendship sparked over something so simple, and yet it works so well because of the fact they both are in awkward positions, yet Jaune just helping Ruby up was enough for them to chat so nonchalantly. Romantically or just platonically, the fact Ruby and Jaune could talk so comfortably around each other, even as rough as things are right now in Volume 9, it speaks volumes.

As Ruby's character got older, her voice got younger. I kinda hoped she'd have a deeper voice by now

I wouldn't mind if Qrow had a possible crush on Summer but I don't think he would be her biological Dad. I don't think Pyrrah will come back (or at least if she were it wouldn't be a very happy reunion), Jaune is probably over Pyrrah at this point so bringing her back would be redundant to Jaune's character.

I hope there's an Atlas Ball..so we can finally see them dance together. Maybe being the one that comforts her about Penny...since their in Atlas. Also Cinder and Neo want to kill her....Jaune would not let that happen again...he won't let her die...like Pyrrha. Much how we got Yang/Blake ship tease with the fight against Adam. We'll certainly could be getting that with Jaune/Ruby. Both have personal issues against Cinder so it makes sense. Plus I feel Jaune could slowly get more him to realize he loves her romantically. I feel it will happen to him first. He just needs something to push him and it would major character growth since he was oblivious to Pyrrha's feelings. Also I really feel Jaune's developing feelings for Ruby but isn't aware of it. Like how he asked HER in particular to come back...PROMISING to come back. Pyrrha made no such promise...and the look on the his face when they had to separated. They emphasized their reunion in Argus...that HUG...and them crying...he also called only HER scroll since arriving there and it's clear he's most concern for her safety over everyone's. I mean did you notice Weiss and Blake moved away so they two could be left alone during their reunion. I feel Lancaster could happen.....I mean Miles said a slow burn romance. I really think it would be Jaune and Ruby. Best friends....who slowly fall in love. I just don't get why people ship Rosegarden...the fact Ozpin is going to merge with Oscar....it doesn't help. Would you still ship them then?? Lancaster makes the most sense....

it is rare I spot 5 different animes and 2 cartoons that does this. I always find it annoying that they rush a relationship. but I hate it when they force characters together knowing full well they hate each other. like can't we just have more normal relationship build ups? it's not really that hard. talking about both friends and couples.

I ship them because their’s is the healthiest relationship out of everything so far. That’s still alive and not a current ship.

Even before Pyrrha Ruby was there for Jaune at his lowest in vol 1, and gave him advice that made him a better leader and huntsman. When Ruby was feeling low and hopeless in vol 3 it was Jaune who helped make her smile again by reminding her how dedicated he and their friends were to following her, because they believed in her. Romantic or platonic, it's a wonderful relationship.

I love how they try cheer each other up when they feel so down about themselves, it's adorable.

4:30: Jaune: "To the socially awkward." This is exactly why Ruby and Jaune are my favorite characters in the show.

Jaune's semblance is linked to his aura and he shares it....so he may not have to touch the area to help with the healing factor. This was the first time he was using it and may have assumed it has to be physical touch...I mean it was still doing so even if Ruby pulls his hand away to see what he's doing. That's how I least thought.

You have a weird relationship with you siblings.

What I love most about Ruby and Jaune’s relationship is that they’re both equally socially awkward and are each the central focus of this show in that they both struggle with what is means to be a leader or a hero. Yet, they’re both so natural about it and that’s a warm welcome. I mean, they’re not meta humans or superheroes. Just a couple of teenagers longing for a purpose. Despite the endless hatred this show gets from haters, I find the journey of the main characters to be endearing with how relatively “normal” and “human” they are.

No self-insert fantasy would go through as much trauma as poor Juane. He also wouldn’t be such a uniquely fascinating male character. I just want Ruby to just be a little older and I’d ship them. Give them a year or two on the island.

I love these two dorks. I only see them as siblings though.

Who else is scared that their friendship will really be tested come volume 9? cos after what happened in the vol 8 finale, i am very scared :s

Well actually for Ruby seeing her personality and character Ruby still easier forgiving Jaune and said is not his fault because when we see Phyrra killed Penny by accident(thanks for Emerald for that) Ruby just forgiving her, now for Jaune well that's is the real issue😅

Sarina Alexa Given the novels that Blake reads, she’s a secret romantic and I think Sun has a weakness for cute things. As for Yang, well she wants her sister to be happy and I think she’ll be supportive of Jaune and Ruby getting together.

@@TheFLAMEXD I also would add in Qrow...because he would want his nieces to be happy... I personally believe Nora would be the BIGGEST shipper for the two. Nora wants him to move on from Pyrrha's death....I am sure traveling with them as Team RNJR for the 6 months...both Ren and Nora may see something is between them...Pyrrha is a factor getting in the way of it.

Interesting how while Ruby always liked Jaune his incompetence as well as every damn word that came out of his mouth were a turn off to her but as she began travelling with him and saw how much he had grown she began to find herself attracted to him.

It's fine if people don't ship them but don't insult me or other people when we do. I'm not a fan of White Rose and I don't insult it either. Also people that say Jaune can't be with Ruby because he was with Pyrrha are ignorant, Time mends all wounds and time keeps moving, it's very selfish of people to say that Jaune would be an asshole to Pyrrha if he dated Ruby, It's very selfish to just expect him to not date anyone for the rest of his life, Plus I'm pretty sure Pyrrha wouldn't have wanted that either.

Originally, they were supposed to hug after Jaune said "you gave us the courage to follow you" but the cut it. Too bad. It would have been nice to see. If White Knight doesn't happen, this will be my knew favorite

Well, I read that in the RTX 2022 q&a they said that WhiteKnight was not going to happen. On reddit they shared that and more V9 data at the time. There are a lot of things that point to the two needs being a thing, but if there is one thing most of us can agree on is that this will be much better to watch than the Bumbleebe XDDD

@@alonsoluarte8197 First of all, I like Bumblebee. Second, better be careful about dissing BB. It's a real hot button issue. Third, that post was just from someones opinion. I have a cousin who went to that and there was NEVER a confirmation about White Knight not going to happen. Just as there's never been a confirmation about ANY ship happening or not. They can't publicly say which ships are happening and which aren't. One, they're not allowed to. Two, it takes all the fun out of the mystery of the ships. Why would they reveal just that one? Why all ships while they're at it? That post was just based on someones opinion. It wasn;t truth

@@azymondiaskingofthedragons2897 Calm down, I didn't say I hated the Bumbleebe ship, I just meant to imply that a large portion of fans will enjoy any ship other than that one. It's not my favorite ship and its start seemed rushed to me, but as of today I'm of the opinion that it's in a much better state. However (and unfortunately), don't expect the rest of the community to change their opinion of the ship anytime soon, at least not yet. I'm not saying everyone should, but there are still a lot of people who hate the ship, and to no one's surprise, most of them are Blacksun fans.... If what you said about WhiteKnight is true, it also sounds logical. I don't like the ship myself, but I would also feel bad if they removed it like that. If that was the intention, they should at least show the justifications in the plot to back up their decision.

@@alonsoluarte8197 I know it's not the most popular ship, but after the last 2 seasons, it's popularity has grown significantly. Most people who say it won't happen are White Rose shippers. But they'll be upset if either White Knight or Lancaster happens. There have been strong indications that White Knight could happen the past few seasons. It doesn't matter what we think about the shipping because it's not our choice to make. RT makes the final decision and we need to respect that
