Not only were the characters not sexualized, but the girls' skirts were designed to not flip up, no matter how bad things get. So, yeah. No upskirt shots.

Can we agree, Monty Oum was the best guy ever: 1. He made sure Cosplayers could cosplay the characters easily 2. He made all the female characters amazing and not just princesses in need of saving 3. None of the girl's skirts fly upward 4. He made this AMAZING show 5. He was extremely creative. (If you have anymore you think are important, right them in a reply.)

I am stuck between Nora, Yang, and Jaune as my favorite character. Most notably Yang's puns, Nora using her sledgehammer as a method of transportation, and the line "It's like a forcefield!" from Jaune

By cultural terminology, it's Japanese animation. By cultural translation, it's any cartoon in the world. A third definition is a cartoon with a Japanese-inspired art-style. If we want to be technical, it's every definition at once, actually. It just depends on who's talking about it. For most of the world, it's Japanese animation. For Japan, it's just animation. That's a safe way to put it ^_^ , reminds me of Reader-Response literary theory, where everyone's interpretation of a novel is a valid interpretation. I also think being safe doesn't move things forward, and is like not dancing at a party because you're afraid of bumping into people _. No one could ever match him, but even still, I find the combat scene are rather lazy. It went from heart pounding action with smooth movement to... fanfiction stuff. To a point where characters even used pistols as a weapon.

omg it's raining That's actually a really legitimate criticism and remains a legitimate criticism. Jaune goes through a real arc (and a contrived one at that) before any of the main characters and has received more development than either Ruby or Blake. While Weiss and Yang have been developed a bit, Ruby has received next to no development (the only development being in the Badge and the Beacon) and Blake's character is continually retconned to something else.

Light Guild Productions not to mention impractical. what kind of sniper is draped in bright colors, rushes head long into battle, uses many moving parts in her weapon, (which would cause it to jam up a lot) and carries 50 Cal. instead of 7.62? and at the ranges she uses it, she's better off with a shotgun or PDW.

RWBY is an american-made anime. It's also the first of its kind to have an original English Dub, then get a Japanese Dub in Japan. Mind you, the Japanese Dub is composed of most of the highest-regarded anime Voice Actors, like Saori Hayami and Yoko Hikasa, to name a few.

+Alacnay The Great no, it's not "white rose" +The Alchemist it's called "ice flower" or "snow flower" All the ship names comes from team attacks (some claim it's other way around). Other ones are: "Checkmate" "Freezeburn" and "Ladybug"

Monty stated he didn't want any members of RWBY or JNPR to die before S8, and it's disrespectful not to fill out Monty's wants, so I think Salem will bring her back as a member of Salem's inner circle and is sent to fight RNJR. When Jaune see's her I think he'd break down and it could be a major arc and a shame to miss such a good opportunity when they revive Pyrrha and bring her back to the good side.

No. I honestly don't. No matter what mechanism or reason is used for a revival, it always *ruins* the death scene because it takes away all of its emotional impact. Also, I think it would really contradict the point they were making at the end of S3: the bad guys are playing for keeps and they will kill *anyone* to get what they want. That one scene forces everyone take all the bad guys a lot more seriously, which I think was needed after all of Team RWBY's somewhat comedic fights with Torchwick.

OH MY GOD ACHILLES' HEEL!!! Pyrrha was shot in the ankle with an arrow, which is why she lost the fight, just like Achilles!

A small little fact with the eye colour is that pyrrha nikos has the same eye colour as carolina from red vs blue and they are voice acted by the same person
