It's a mechanical mule. Not an organic mule. They have similar uses though. I suppose. This is an interesting little kit from Rubicon models. I quite like it, though there were a couple of areas where it was a bit more tricky than I was expecting. Turned out pretty good though! Another figure was made too... Am I changing my ways? No.

The driver's foot seems to be on the clutch as if he's freewheeling downhill, an efficient fuel-saving tactic; he's obviously from a logistics unit.
Nice job, cool little vehicle.
Looks interesting. Like something Barnaby and you would use in Farm Sim to do sick jumps.
The steering wheel was adjustable up & down you could push it out of the way to mount and dismount, and they had a bad tendency to roll over. They were used to move munitions on the battlefield.

Throw the machine gun on there and you could create a diorama of the scene from Maximum Overdrive
Strange but cool little vehicle. No lights or plate so it probably lives in a rear area somewhere schlepping stuff from one truck to another. The versions with recoilless rifle or MG should have at least convoy lighting. Odd that there’s no apparent provision for them.

The box did mention it being for moving stuff behind the lines, rather than in combat. I'd imagine they wouldn't have lighting to help keep them light (ha) for air lifting or something
