Another perfect example of why IBJJF rules need to be updated. When 50/50 is initiated within the first minute and both opponents are stuck there the ENTIRE match what is the point?? These are arguably 2 of the best feather weights the sport has ever seen and because of the horrible IBJJF ruleset, instead of an action packed epic fight, fans are stuck watching a stalemate stalling 50/50 snoozefest for 11 minutes that ends in a refs decision which everyone hates. Why is it so difficult to simply create a stalemate rule with 50/50 where competitors are reset if there is no action after a minute? Both competitors and fans want this. It is better for the sport. Please demand this from IBJJF everyone because unless fans push for this, they will never change.

But some athletes have dedicated their lives to this sport and sacrificed more of their time/energy than most people can imagine for the hopes of making it to the top. In order for these athletes to get paid and make it worth it for them, this sport needs to grow. And there will be no growth/money with rules that create matches like this. So it is serious for the high level athletes in this sport. And if you care about this sport and those athletes it should be important to you too.

Luta feia e amarrada. Tem que mudar essas regras que puxa pra 50 e fica nesse enrolação pra ganhar de vantagem. Luta medíocre.
