This song changed my life,my father almost died 3 times,same complications 3 times,congestive heart failure and we wasn't speaking for years and he lived 13 hours away and I gotta call 1 day,6am saying I needed to get there asap cause he wasn't expected to live thru the nite,I played this song and begged God not to take my Daddy away,to gimme 1 more try with my Dad and to remove my selfish ways and I cried and when this part of the song played that says Take me,shake me etc I fell to my knees in my kitchen,the mist powerful but good feeling cake over my body and I traveled by bus 13 hours and stayed by his side,Prayer works and miracles from God is miraculous,5 years later my dad is OK and here in G.A. 15min away from me!🛐Now as of 2021 I'm praying for my innocent child thats locked away,I fall to my knees and cry all the time,Lord give me my baby back plz or I cant go on in life,its tearing my body up inside and out!

There was a moment in my life that I was struggling with almost everything. From one failure to another. I started thinking that maybe some people were meant to be blessed while others a created for failures, but I was wrong because my own angel was yet to come. When I turned to God, I asked for that angel to take me through and God remembered my cries. An angel came and nothing was has ever been the same. Sometimes, I ask myself if it is still God blessing me or if it is not the devils seduction. I have been taken from glory to Glories. The Lord is wonderful.

When I was in elementary school, we did a play about Harriet Tubman and this song played during the scene when Harriet was praying in the woods. When I discovered that the song is R Kelly’s song, then everything makes sense; this is R Kelly cry and his plea to God. In the song I wish, R Kelly said “instead of throwing the stones at me, somebody pray for me”, he has enough self conscious to know that he is in torment deep inside of him there’s a battlefield, through out the years in the high of his fame and success, he always wrote songs that was a cry for help; but we didn’t paid attention until it was too late for him. There’s still hope left because he is alive, so he can find the way of salvation, but like he said pray for him instead of throwing stones at him.
