Still rocking my 1070 I bought In late 2017. Upgraded the cooler and overclocked to over 2ghz. It plays all the latest games at 1080p extremely well and it's not far behind the 3060 laptop GPU.

Big thank you for playing the same game scenes. Thanks to that I can very precisely compare my gpu with your tested and decide if it is for me worth to buy or not. Keep up the simple great work. 👌

Nice Vid! The Palit 40 Series is really sexy. Got my hands on a 4080 with that design, its beautiful IRL.

The BIOS switch P stands for Primary and S stands for Secondary. They are bot hthe same Bios, it is just there in case the Primary screws up, you can switch it to Secondary and it will still work. :). Great video as always. Awesome card, but a little pricey for a 4070 card.

Some people don`t like the RTX 4070 or 4070, but this card is amazing for me, maybe if the price would be just like the 4070 or the GTX 1070 Ti in these days, it would be a massive seller. I have a ROG Strix RTX 3060 and it also doesn't even hit 60 degrees in most games. Gets up to 58 or 59 and stays there. Only super intensive games usually with RT will it go up to as far as 63. Love this card because I only game at 1080p 165Hz so it's more than enough for me

@@selohcin Hi, a lot of DL apps are available like Stable Diffusion 2, Video2X, you can do a lot of interesting stuff. SD2 is available for free of cost and you can generate images using AI. That alone requires a 11GB VRAM GPU and you can see the applications. if your gpu has DLSS3, the Turing cores are actually much better for gaming as well and all over enhancements that nvidia provides out of the box.

big reason why nvidia has a marketshare is because of the cuda cores allowing AI, ML, ray tracing, etc.

Super interesting check up, thx! 😉 A uhd test with for example Red Dead Redemption 2 with settings on high or very high and without msaa would be very interesting at uhd. I really thinking about to buy the 4070ti. I mostly play games like timberborn, snowrunner, Anno 1800 or other not so performance hungry games. Do you think that these games are good playable at UHD with the 4070ti? Edit: Ok, i am at the end of the video now and you said, that you will test the card tomorrow with uhd. @@tyrocksalotI use a 3090 card for 1080p competitive games consistently. There are super sweats that value high FPS (240++) and could care less about pretty graphics. My 1080p Zowie monitor works well enough for my eyes and the super fast panel and near zero motion blur is perfect imo.

4070 Ti is perfect card for 2560x1440 with Ultra settings. Also lowest possible power consumption.

@@shalomsam5362 You have to take into account the new architecture of the 40 series. The 4070ti is on par/ beating a 3090 ti. It does a LOT more with a LOT less.

I dont know about you but for me this card gets 100+ fps @4k without raytracing and stable 60-70 fps with rt ultra settings. The downside is the 12Gb vram

Amazing benchmark as always 😄 One question tho', how do you always get your GPU's utilization in GTA 5 up to 99% in every single benchmark? It looks so smooth! I'm using the 4090 with 5900x and I'm only reaching 50-75% most of the time while playing in 4K, which should bottleneck just by like 5% max at some heavy areas in that resolution. Especially in online, it drops even more but I'm pretty sure that's more CPU based.

Hey, yeah I'm aware about the bottleneck, but still like I said it should be around like 5% bottleneck. I've even seen so many people complain about the GPU usage in this game and none of the fixes are working for almost nobody with this issue. However, I've just found 2 benchmarks to prove my point. 1st: (Has same specs as me, has good 95-99% GPU usage at 4K) kzread.info/dash/bejne/lq2Ww6aEl7CbeM4.html 2nd: (Has one of the best intel CPUs on the market rn, hits same GPU utilization like me (avg 75%+- at 4K resolution) kzread.info/dash/bejne/aW2cxZSOcqyteNo.html Like wtf, I don't understand why is this game's running so well for some people with the same specs, but GPU util runs so bad with even higher specs, but only for some people...

Great video as always!! The new 40 series I’m beginning to realise is mainly for new builds, unless you’re upgrading from a 20 series. 30 to 40 isn’t worth the upgrade. I’m running an i5 11400f with a 3060ti & RDR2 runs like a dream even with these mid range specs. At 1440p all on high I’m hitting an almost solid 120fps, with DLSS performance enabled.

Yup. In my case, the upgrade was totally worth it (coming from 1660 super, +156% of perfomance gains)

Yeah I think it's great tech, maybe because I only played around with it when the 30 series were already out. I heard the first implementations of DLSS were pretty rough, but now it's solid, I like the visuals and I think it's worth enabling in most games.

just an out of video question, but where did you get Lagless Shader Lite (not standard) for Minecraft? Do u remember? btw the video is great.

the extra 200GBP it would have cost me was the kller...so i got my 4070 and upgraded a 2600 to 5600x. still a nice card. i sharpened things in the control panel to around 40 which helps with fg on. but remember folks, there`s always someone out there with a better something than you, just like you have something better than them....
