@@retrodata0767isn’t there a setting that lets you add another 25 watts making it about 140 but it never pulls more then 100ish anyway. The name is quite literally slipping my mind, I am not super familiar with laptops however. I’ve seen the 4050 spec at 45w and 140w (115 plus that added setting or whatever it is) 🤷‍♂️. Edit: I remember the name Dynamic Boost! Lol

And in normal use without playing, just watching videos or browsing, how long does the battery last?

Why is DLSS turned off? Especially DLSS 3?

What about dlss3 and frame generation

RTX 4050 TGP? Is it 90w?

Wouldn't call this exactly smooth running experience and again it's just full HD. But about a year and half ago I was running games on a 3050 TI and I could still game on average on 60 fps on titles like Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn with Ray tracing and DLSS on. So folks, if similar pricing, go for 4050 but if a 3050 TI or 3060 is alot cheaper go for second option. Marketing out there tells you to buy it, but if its working, why upgrade?

@@Humansayz DLSS is not a miracle tech, there is only so much it can do. If you're on Quality at 1920/1080 then it renders from a lower resolution. There is only so much guessing to do at such resolution for the AI to upscale. It's true that even for 3000 series cards DLSS is a gamechanger, taugh

I recently bought a 4050 6gb vram laptop, Games like GOW (graphic intensive games), runs smooth on ultra. Other than that CPU intensive games like valorant require good processor, try to get 13h or 13hx. The heating will depend on the laptop or pc build. There is no blur/ghosting of any kind, and checked with dlss as well, good fps with smooth gameplay. Some AAA titles require higher specs.

If you have the money, go for 40 series gpus. DLSS 3 and frame gen is future proof but I would be lying to you if i said 4050s are worth it hell naw, the only gpus worth investing are 4060s, 80s and 90s. If you have already a 30 series gpus dont bother getting 40 series, its already enough.

This is almost as expensive as the 3070ti 150w nitro 5. And the 150w 3070ti is equal to the 140w 4070, which itself is a good 35 to 40% faster than the 4050.

@@Kuze_Min It performs like a 3060 @ 75W, while being a entry level 4050 @ 45W ... So it uses 3/5 of the power, while being the lowest entry level dGPU, and it has DLSS3 on top of that. Saying this as somebody that gamed on a 3050 @ 35W before, its a massive upgrade compared to the older 3050. I hope this explanation helps...

I Too Noticed That I Have RTX 3060M (75W) One , I Got 50+ Avg FPS In Rdr2 In Favour Quality Preset With DLSS Off , So Basically RTX 3060M = RTX 4050M Without DLSS But With DLSS 3 , RTX 4050M Gets A Lot Of Better Of RTX 3060M

Its a 3060 that only needs to draws 45W, compared to a 3060 that needs 75W+ to compete. And DLSS3 frame generation as bonus.
