Why is Stephen Sayer mentioned more than any other dancer but he is in the front? It would seem that the man in the blue suit is the main dancer.

I clicked going, “ok, whatever.” Then I started smiling -and never stopped. This made me happy. I watch it regularly now when I want to smile. I love the two main ones in front and everybody behind them just having a blast doing it their own way. Man, what a killer idea! I can’t dance but a I think I would love this.

I love the blond headed guy with the blue vest on, he is just amazing.

I like how they’re all in sync but not rigidly choreographed. Each dancer exhibits their own style.

I am 72 and in good physical shape, watching these youngsters boogie makes me want to learn to dance this and get my cardio at the same time.

Dance is the best all round exercise for cardio, muscles, flexibility, stamina and the brain. Go for it. Your limitations will widen as you develop. Great social too.

Look for line dancing classes in your area; it’s a great place to start.

Also tap dancing classes are great fun, and some of the moves are similar. If you have continuing ed classes in your area, or a senior center, that are open at this time, they might offer such a class. And if they don't, ask them to start one. Otherwise, there are tap dance "classes" on KZread and elsewhere online.

I think when dancers are taller, longer limbs and lanky, it looks even better. But, you're right, the blue guy was fantastic and all were doing so well. I just believe how they learn the choreography, the foot moves, etc !! They do change, so maybe it's with the music they remember. Bravo !

It's funny cause, I remember for a short stint in the 90's swing dancing made a come-back. A girlfriend and I would go out and test our dance skills, the guy's were "too cool" to try it out.. but that didn't matter, we still had a blast. And yes, I do agree, I love this kind of free-form of dance expression, it's always a fun time. 😃

Zumba is not real partnership dancing. Swing latin and ballroom have all been put into the "ballroom" category. Ballroom lessons are expensive so it makes it harder for everyone to afford it. Which is interesting considering all those dances were started by people in lower class communities or countries. Zumba is easier to teach in a group setting because there is no lead and follow. Sorry for the whole tid but but i love dance and its history

@@garyco766 understood. We don't have a salsa only studio near me. The only swing studio teaches west coast and the prices are competitive to a ballroom studio. My point was if you want to take partnership dancing classes u need a partner and a teacher and not many studios where I am offer private instruction cheap. It is weird to me considering these dances did not come from wealthy backgrounds.

All of them we’re good but the two in the middle “were outstanding!”

Again, the exuberance of youth. Loved it and I chair danced right along with you all. you guys and gals were all freaking amazing, but my eye was drawn to the tall guy in the way back, in the middle towards the left. All you could see was his head moving as he stayed in step. Thanks for sharing this.

I don’t what was more fun watching the dancing or all the comments! Had to go back and watch this video four times just to find the people y’all were describing 🕺🏻 💃🏽 what a blast!

Yknow one of my very favorite things about these types of dance - swing, lindy hop, Charleston, jitterbug, etc etc - is that the dress code is *so nice*! If anything can tell you about the influences and the meaning behind the dance, it’s the clothes people wear when they dance it. Twerkers and jigglers in night clubs wear the most lascivious scanty outfits. People who are into THIS kind of dance dress with class, elegance, modesty, and the most dapper attitudes. The difference is stark, and in my opinion one is far more attractive than the other. Give me a man who can REALLY dance!

He’s gotta be related to the guy in the white suit…his dad maybe? I got turned on to this today cause the 1 minute shorts videos. They over dubbed a 80’s song onto this dance and zeroed in on the blue vest kid the teacher in gray suit and white suit guy ..the tune is good whoever thought to lay it over this video.

One of the things I really love about swing dancing etc is everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves, They have smiles on their faces and are so energetic. I normally don't like to watch dancing or to dance by its own but this @RasmusHolmqvist has mesmerized me entirely. Can't focus at anything else there. He is a STAR truly.

That guy in the blue reminds me of Fred Astaire - light on his feet, graceful, perfectly syncopated his steps with the rhythm. What a joy to watch this!!! Thank you for uploading it.

He reminds me of Bob Banas.

The dancer in the gray jacket and black pants stands out. What a way to dance.

Quality. Wish I could dance like that. I've no rhythm or anything apart from. Two left feet. Love watching people that can dance 🕺 😍 ❤️

Beautiful performance ♥️given by everyone. It's so nostalgic, it reminds me of the time of Doris Day, Louise Armstrong, and of time when life had a quality, when people enjoyed with how little resources they had, when women were gentle and kind and when men had shoulder a women could lean on. Oh, I can go on and on. Lovely to see these 😘beautiful, wonderful, bright young people dancing so energetically, that I had to leave my chair and follow some steps with you guys. I will replay this video many times until I learn some of these steps. Come back soon with your wonderful performance 👋🏻

@@ruadhbeag read the whole message thoroughly and come back to me. The whole picture of men and women have changed in our time. So is the enjoyment. But that was not what I got out of the dance. I said the dance was nostalgic, where women were still women with no Botox on their faces. And men were still straight. I think I can go on to explain to you, now it’s up to you what you get out of my text. Good luck♥️

Así es. Y Koch es el coreógrafo de esta rutina. Que también incluye a Stephen Sayer una super estrella de las pistas. Y para mí el que tiene mejor ritmo.

Fantastic dancing

Aside from the three guys everyone is mentioning on here (whom are all fantastic), the two that caught my eye were to the right of them. The lady with the blue skirt and the guy in the brown suit. They are superb!
