The worst time I've ever fallen asleep was during a stage play. It was Phantom of the Opera, I think, and as a kid, I snored a lot, so I was actually jostled awake by peers and had to be escorted outside, only to fall asleep again on the bench. Sleeping on the plane is a hit or miss for me. Either I fall asleep at the snap of the fingers, or I'm just so uncomfortable because of all the people around me that all my social anxieties just activates all at once. Well, at least my acrophobia and claustrophobia doesn't activate, so that's a plus...
