I feel like he's anxious about how he is perceived by other guys. On always open, he seems to perfectly comfortable. But on the main podcast, when it's him and three other guys, he'll start telling a story or giving his position on an issue, and will slowly lose confidence through the whole thing. He also seemed really concerned about the possibility of Michael hating him.

Blaine mentioned a couple times that he was very overweight and out of shape in middle or high school and was bullied a lot for it, so I'd wager he still hasn't fully outgrown those insecurities. Which I mean, yeah. That's a shitty situation that no one should have to go through and there's not really much in the way of how to cope with it. The fact that he's as open about it as he is is a testament to how far he's come.

They say Matt sucks off the devil to win at Mario Kart, but really he wins because he plays smart. He uses a bike, which is better if you can deal with the slightly worse handling, and he plays defensively. While the others are fucking each other over, he's pulling further and further ahead. The real devil dick sucking is Michael for Mario Party. While Michael is better at the mini games for the most part, so much of what causes Michael to win is down to luck. He always gets lucky dice rolls, he always gets lucky in the random mini games, he always gets lucky with items, etc.

Though I should also mention that only one of the things in the video was a draw. For Swap Fest, that's just how it works. Two grow to the same height but only one blooms. The rope game was a draw and in the event of that, the winner is chosen randomly. For the space minigame, Michael was actually very slightly further ahead.
