Hey guys - great video as always! Quick bit of clarification on the in&box - that microswitch is not supposed to be used each time . That switch is more like a master switch for major periods of downtime. The rest of the time use the soft switch in middle of the lights. It takes some getting used to - but once you learn - it's much (much!) easier.

  • @sportbiketrackgear

Last weekend at MotoAmerica I started with having Max's In&Box fully charged before we left and did not use any of the switches until we left on Sunday after race 2. Before we left I removed the box and turned off the micro switch. Before each session I checked to make sure the system was active and the battery level was sufficient. When I turned it off it was at 78%. - Van

I own this since 2 years and this is hands down the best suit I have ever worn... period. Crazy quality and crazy price. Extremely safe, comfortable, light and good looking as well. Love it, I even have let it change a bit so it fits like a made to measure suit for me. Also changed the knee protector for a level 2 paramount one😁 I also got a held airbag vest for commutes to work. Good thing is that i can use the same remote since they are also using the same system. So I just have to pay one membership. Awsesome video as usual💪🏽 keep it up Greetings from germany

one detail on the $12 monthly plan is that to suspend it up to 4 months still costs $4 a month while the service is suspended. So you might as well pay the $120 annually as the monthly comes out to $112 for 8 months of use or $120 for 9 months. you can cancel the plan temporarily but you have to send the box in and then reorder one when you are ready to reactivate it if it is going to be long term

  • @sportbiketrackgear

I will admit that I am not a fan of having another monthly payment to keep track of. That said the RST airbag suits we have available now are the best option for most track riders. When you consider the cost and ability to be able to repack this on your own at the track makes it hard to beat. - Van

I’m a big fan of RST leathers and jeans. I own a few plus some kit for my wife. Unfortunately, I don’t do road racing but I can recommend RST generally particularly for their leathers. I also love Alpinestars but can’t afford their kit unless it’s on clearance. The airbags of each company have a different philosophy. I’d say A* biases their protection more to lateral falls - they have the shoulder caps covered AND lateral ribs (not mentioned in the video). In&Motion favored a large volume to protect the core and more neck head immobilization at the detriment of lateral falls. That being said lateral falls - often low sides - tend to be lighter impacts where passive armor might be sufficient.

We work closely with a MotoAmerica race team (Team Hammer) that has been racing in RST airbag suits for three seasons now. Over this period many a bike has hit the ground and the airbags have done an excellent job of protecting their racers. Each of the brands have their own philosophy for the airbag and our experience with RST and Alpinestars has shown they both get the job done. - Van

Awesome info, as always! Does this suit fit very different to the older non-airbag version of the v4.1? If a size EU50 in the non-airbag model is a good race fit, will this be too small in the same size, or is it cut a little different to accommodate the airbag?

I think this design is superior to tech air 10 for several reasons. I own the tech air 10. The suit is slimmer and looks far lighter. It also looks less cumbersome to put on and more form fitting. The tech air 10 offers great protection but is hot and heavy and makes zipping a suit over it without help nearly impossible. I also struggle to wear another base layer under the tech air 10 due to the heat making me drench the fabric that the airbag is integrated in. I think this will sell well and hopefully alpinestars learns from the design here and integrates their airbag directly into their track suits in similar fashion with ONE crucial addition. Cover the hips!!

You could but I would bet if you ride in this with the in&motion airbag in it and feel all that airflow and comfort you will sell your Tech Air 10. Shoot Max and email on maxvan@sportbiketrackgear.com and ask him how much he likes riding in this suit. - Van

@@antoniomatic7572 I’m 178cm around 68 to 72kg. So if it fits me, it should fit you. My rs taichi in 50 was a bit too short on the torso but rs taichi is 1 size smaller.

I would suggest trying on the RST Pro Series Evo Airbag CE One Piece Leather Race Suit in a size 52 US. Wear it in the house, if it does not fit just return it. Here is a link to it on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/rst-pro-series-evo-airbag-ce-one-piece-leather-race-suit/

You can pay a one time fee of $400 and no subscription needed. End of the day the price point of this suit makes it the most affordable airbag suit on the market today, even with the monthly subscription or one time $400. - Van

It really depends on how you want your race suit to fit. Some riders like the suit tight while others like a little more operating room. I would put you in a size 52 euro in this suit for a tighter (race fit) or a 54 euro for a roomier, more comfortable fit. - Van
