Note: A big help for this quest (as many others as well) is Greater SureFooted Aura from the Loyalty Shop. If you are a newer player that needs to complete a lot of quests still, this aura can be used anytime you come across an agility obstacle. And will save you lots of time by preventing you from failing when you activate it (40 minutes).

Tip: If you are higher level and have cinderbanes equipped, you can kill the Dagganoth mother completely with poison. It will take about a minute to kill her, but you won't need to switch combat styles at all.

And just keep attacking wit- .. Oh .. Boom congratulations

Jumping across the rocks took longer than the rest of the quest for me, LMAO

I was already fighting her before you showed me what to do, but I murdered her without doing any of the magic attack switches lol.

i just tried necromancy and unless they patch it the zombie's poison can and will kill the mother if you're lazy and don't want to bring combat changes and yes it does complete the quest for you thought id share ;)

Forgot to do this one somehow until at 80+ magic....so Polyspore basically instakills the Daganoth, just a weird little interaction if you put this off like I did.

Watchtower tele tab is also useful.

That moment when you're maxed, hate questing and then get to do this quest... to realise you're on the ancient spell book from pvm. smh xD Good guide btw :D

Haha same thing happen with my boss fight, I two shot it with air spells on legacy server and it was a completely unexpected quest complete popup.

Damn I didn't bring a tinderbox cus I have one on my toolbelt... Welp, time to teleport
