@@mexa_t6534 It's a conversation I heard some of the NPCs in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion having. The idle conversations in that game are basically made by sticking some "idle chatter dialogue" (I don't know the in-code name) together, and it results in some pretty strange conversations. That being said, if my DM had some NPCs having an Oblivion-style conversation, I'd be ecstatic at the reference.

I think Oblivion is Jeremy Soule's finest work to date. It IS the quintessential masterpiece for RP & Gaming. Nothing lulls you away better than its sounds. Light as the dew on a wind swept night. Soothing as the mist on a cool morning. It is free flowing, airy, mystical, enchanting, calming, relaxing, adventurous and yet safe. Oblivion's soundtrack makes you want to explore that next dungeon, next cave, next room up ahead. "Oh look! A new house! Better go see what's inside!" It sets the atmosphere; it is the atmosphere. The music is the journey we all remember. We may not remember that one weapon we had or that ring we found next to the rusted piece of armor. You might remember what character you created at a time. Perhaps your favorite quest line or guild, but you will ALWAYS remember the soundtrack and you will always know what game it belongs to. Hear, hear for Jeremy Soule!

These songs were played during the long journey through the Trade Road from south to north of the Sword Coast. The campaing was D&D's Tiranny of Dragons, but it doesn't matter now. As the wagon slowly bounced through the road leaving the muddy trail of the wooden wheels, the characters smoked their pipes and smelled the scent of wet earth as the oaks were getting stripped from its leaves with the gusts of wind, telling everybody some more rain was about to reach'em. The ranger was scouting the wagon just a few yards ahead atop of his brown mare, as he sharpened his elven ears and eyes trying to understand what could those grey stains of muck mean upon the bushes at the left side of the trail.

"I can't help but wish i was in some other world, the elegance of a sword in my hand instead of a gun, clean air,a place were people actually care about others, a place were creatures and beasts are the enemy and not each other. A world were there are still places that are unknown and adventures to be had.......The world we live in has its wonders, but some of us long for more....It is that spirit of longing that has inspired so many great works of art....Though we can not live there we visit through our imagination" ~William Darc

I still ironically miss that painfully ill-fated friendship with Aribeth de Tylmerande, and travelling alongside Deekin Scalesinger or the arrogant Xanos (whom I had a silly minor teen crush on) while fighting against the Rise of Undrentide....and I definitely miss sweet Linu.... Half a lifetime ago and I'll never forget my besties from Neverwinter Nights. The Elder Scrolls is fun, but not a lot of people will ever come even close to understanding the nostalgia I have for NWN....

@@Daelyah Yeah i get what you mean, it is hard for a game to come close to the feeling that Neverwinter Nights brings you. A decade and a half later the game still bring me chills. The only other games that can compare the nostalgia from Neverwinter Night for me is Kingdom Hearts, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun and Monster Hunter. I wish they make another Neverwinter Nights game. I know the MMO Neverwinter is a thing but that game doesn't have the same feel for me, not like the old Neverwinter games.
