RP7 Developer Interview

#steam #wasd #rp7 #roguelike #rpggames #indiedev #indiegame
A massive thanks to the team at Turtle Cream for the interview. Check it out on Steam and at the WASD event in London.
RP7 is a slot-managing roguelike. Instead of character control, you can roll seven random encounter slots to create your character's journey. Roll and re-roll each step of your journey as you plan ahead. With one simple mechanic, you'll experience infinite RPG gameplay. Fight monsters, gather gold, become stronger, and find your missing pet frog!
In 2017, the development journey of RP7 began as RP6, a tiny experimental prototype created by Sun Park. As the team modified the game into a full version, the project evolved into a studio project of Turtle Cream, which was founded by Sun back in 2009. Sun and Youngmin created the game using pixel graphics, and after experimenting with various artists, Peter joined the team and transformed the art style into 3D.
Features
Strange but familiar RPG gameplay with 7 buttons
7 playable character classes
7 randomly assigned levels
And many other 7 things

Thanks Aaron, let me me be the first of many who for sure are grateful for your dedication to bringing attention to what could be considered “niche/indie” titles for all us gamers 😊👍
