At the 2023 CEDIA show, a new set of guidelines for putting together properly designed immersive audio listening spaces, of various levels, was announced. CEDIA/CTA RP22 Immersive Audio System Design Recommended Practice is a comprehensive resource document for custom installers and integrators to craft better listening environments that will, no doubt, continue to be added to. In this video, we sit down with CEDIA’s Walt Zerbe and Perlisten’s Erik Wiederholtz to discuss RP22 and what it means for home theater and listening spaces going forward.
