Hi Ian, when I was there, men wore long pants in the evening.

@@tiberm.1345 thanks for getting back. is it a must to wear them or are you allowed to wear dress shorts/chino shorts instead and is that in all restaurants or just the A La Carte ones? again, thanks in advance.

@@iancollenette5974 As you know, the 5* all inclusive hotels have a dressing code. But, you are right, at the buffet men wear shorts. Nobody will ask you to leave the restaurant :)

We just got back. In the UK this wouldn’t be a five star hotel. I’d give it a four on most levels. (Five on the bar). It’s Cuba, they’re under great constraints. We were subjected to all sorts over our meals. Big bottoms clad in flared crochet trousers were popular (usually found at the cake counter). Bikinis underneath thin net. Digestion would be enhanced without that 😊 We made an effort in the evenings, some didn’t. It’s very casual. The beach is stunning. The staff are great. It’s a lovely hotel.
