Of all the resort review videos I have been watching, yours is by FAR the best. Labeled well, camera panning was slow enough to watch, and a good general feeling of each area of the resort. Thanks!

Hey lovely video you have here. But now for some questions I ask. If I were to go i'll be bringing a CPAP machine for sleeping and my amazon fire tv cube. Would I need a convertor for this? On travel sites I read you need a convertor and others say no because "they have the same plugs as they do in North America." What currency did you tip with? If you brought something else did you get a good exchange rate? How is the wifi and the tv channel selection?

Is that room you showed a Diamond ? Also, thanks for the video its great !

ALL rooms are the same, excluding Presidential suite. DC refers to the (er) level of service you pay for and a day bed on the beach. Having been 6 times I can assure you Dc is not worth the £230 extra cost.

@@bernie2108 based on other videos I've seen Diamond Club rooms are different more modern looking. I was just conversing with a guy on KZread who had a Diamond Club room and he took a video of it.

@@micabellacosa5113 Hello Mica, in my experience of Hicacos over 4 years and Eight visits, with one trip DC, there is no difference in the rooms, the food, the drinks. Part of the beach is declared DC only , but as all beaches in Cuba are public this is nonsense. A separate Breakfast (Italian rest;) and a sectioned of area of the main buffet, red beach towels , oh and a DC club lounge to pose in. All in all not value for an extra £250 sterling. I am back in May so will ascertain if rooms have been renovated and report back. Regards Bernie.

Just wanna know if it is strictly a couples hotel, I am travelling with my 18 year old son and I am going to Cuba and really fancy this hotel. If not do u have any other suggestions

I been there Oct 2021 it is not worth the money big resort but service quality and food very bad not 5 star every thing changed I enjoyed the beach very much but you can get it in 3 star resort so save your money

I 've read about a guy staying at Royalton who had to go to the hotel next door if he wanted better food. Now the best part - Royalton is 5 star and the other hotel is only 4 star - which is reflected in prices - Royalton is £500 more for 2 weeks if I want to book with the same agency and the same standard room. I was thinking of booking Royalton but others also say that food elsewhere is better. Also seems that Royalton' gym has far less equipment than some other hotels in Varadero.
