Almost all pools in Punta Cana close by 7pm. They say its for there cleaning process! We did find one adult pool open until 12am though!

Hi!! There was very little seaweed! At least when we went in January and compared to Mexico it felt like almost nothing!!

Hi, very informative video thanks. You said something about you're encouraged to reserve your chair on the beach. Does this just mean get your towel down nice and early? I'm there next month and very much looking forward to it going now. I love the beach and will spend a lot of time on it.

I believe you can try to upgrade if there is availability. You can use the waterpark but you have to pay if you’re a non member

Does this resort have a water park for everyone "onsite"? Or do they have to be transported to the water park? If transported, is the water park free or only for Diamond Club?

It does not have one onsite. You have to be transported and only free for Diamond Members 🤗🤗🤗

If you had to recommend between the Royalton Bavaro and the Majestic Mirage for a young couple, which would you recommend? I agree that the pools closing at 6pm is a huge bummer... but clear beach water is super important to us so that can make up for it.

I liked the Majestic better for couples but preferred the pool layout at the Royalton. If I was to return though and had to pick between the two I would pick Majestic bc I stay at the beach all day anyway! 😀

If you are adults don’t go to Royalton bavaro way too many kids there I will never book a resort again with kids

Probably because of the pandemic pool was closed at 6. We just left 6/28/2021 and were open till late night

Hi Tegan! The main benefit is that you get a butler assigned to you that will take care of anything that you need during your stay! Ask for Alicea! She is amazing and tell her Blanquita sent you. You also get access to the best breakfast there which is at Ocean Place - amazing and also access to the Diamond Club Pool Lounge and the better drinks. Absolutely would do it!

Thanks for the video! Very informative. What other resorts did you travel to in DR, so we can get a flavor and compare it to those? Also, are kids allowed to the diamonds club breakfast place? What are other cool features for diamond club members that we should consider?

Thanks for the comment! The other resort that I went to in DR was the Iberostar - the food wasn't that great and I didn't go with my kids. We also went to Emotions Hodelpa in Puerto Plata - it was a smaller resort and not alot of bells and whistles. Videos of those will come soon! Yes Kids are allowed to the Diamond's Club breakfast place! I need to do a video about the Diamond Club for sure - The butler that you get with it was worth it alone - Our was Alicea - She was amazing and made all of our dinner reservations. My Dad also needed medicine that they didnt have at the gift shop and she went into town and got it for us. They also make sure that you are well served the whole time. The upgraded alcohol and restaurants was worth it for me. You get free access to the WaterPark at their sister location. You also get a faster check in and check out service AND the best part is that they don't try to sell you anything throughout. Its definitely worth it at this resort!

Honestly it depends on time of year and how many people. I think we paid about $40-$50 per day per room

I am planning a birthday vacation, 3 couples, should I go to Royalton bavaro or Majestic elegance? Any suggestions will help me greatly please.

Thanks for watching! We are releasing a new video later about the Majestic Mirage! Definitely watch for it. I believe the Elegance is closed and they were sending everyone to the Mirage. For couples go to the Mirage. The Royalton was nice but more family oriented.

I just talked to Majestic elegance about booking and they did not share anything about it being closed. I will double check with them. Does Majestic has better music/ activities for couples? Should I even care about the alcohol they use, or its all same everywhere!

Thank you! I know how hard it is to pick resorts! The alcohol is not the same everywhere but loved the majestic choices! Even had Cointreau! A few guests were annoyed bc they booked the Elegance and were put in the Mirage. It’s beautiful there! And you have to take an excursion to La Soana! I’ll drop the link for the video when it’s uploaded 😍.

I know! It’s like that at most of those bigger resorts. Except the Barcelo in Mexico that we reviewed. I don’t think that group sells time shares any more
