I went like weeks ago and I look into the swim-up rooms and barely people go in there. I've only seen like 5 people inside.

How was your experience I am going there next January 2022, can you please share some feedback .

I stayed at splash about three months ago and it was over beyond my expectations

I have been there so much times it’s really nice I recommend it if you don’t want to go far The diamond club is very good

What about the tips? Are they included?

Been to this resort 2 times. Going again next year, march or April. The Royalton has it all. 8O percent of the rooms are close to the beach while the other hotels are a tram ride to get there. The food is outstanding, steak house is tops. Entertainment is on par with the other hotels and fun for young and older crowds. Drinks are very good and your glass is never empty. Only downside i ever saw was the constant venders trying to sell you something on the beach and inside the hotel on certain days. A good tip for that is, hook up a vender with 10 bucks and have him stand near you for 30 or 45 mins shooing off the others if you want to be left alone. Otherwise they are constantly there working on you. A very very good place to stay and we cant wait to return here. Worth it!!! Book with confidence....

Do you know if travel vaccines are necessary for Punta Cana? We live in the USA. We didn't need any for Cancun, just but sure about the DR.

That's a good question. Personally, I don't think so. We didn't get any and were just fine. Now, if you google the question, you'll see that a large number of vaccines are recommended by clinics for an infinite number of possible diseases in DR... (really?) The same goes for Mexico and all other destinations in the Caribbean.

Good video! Although I would like to have seen your opinions of each section of the resort you showed. You also ranked your room as a 4.5 and the shows/entertainment as a 4, so I’m curious to know why.

Thanks for your feedback and question! I had two issues with my room during my stay (a hot water issue and an electrical issue). Both were minor and quickly fixed but still, not a perfect 5-star score in my opinion. Night shows were very good too, but I've seen better at other resorts. Overall, a great experience. Thanks again!

Can you tell me if it is a big difference between the Diamond service and the normal rooms? We did not pay for the Diamond upgrade.. didn't think it would be needed to be honest... 🙈

I agree, you don't need the Diamond Club upgrade to enjoy a great vacation there. With that said, I believe there is a big difference if you go for it. You will feel it from the very moment you check-in at their exclusive lounge... Then there is the butler, the location of the rooms, the access to a private beach area, preferred breakfast/lunch/dinning areas, theme restaurants reservations, the 24-hr room service, the staff, and so much more... Our Diamond Club experience in Punta Cana was amazing. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for the video. We upgraded to the Dimond club so we can enjoy the water park and the other sister resort. We have an 8 and 14 yr old. The way I see it we pay for 1 one but have 2 to enjoy. Can't go wrong. Going in August. Surprise trip for the kids. My son is turning 15 this year and this is " His Sweet 15" So excited!!!

Yes, the swim out rooms are part of the Diamond Club section. They were sold out when we went, so I guess this is the way to go. We booked ours on the 2nd floor of the building.
