A lot of why Kate isn't good at this is her inability to play a supporting role. She doesn't have the ability to carry a sketch on her own, but at the same time has to be the center of attention to deliver a couple of simple lines in an unnecessarily over-the-top manner.

I think Princess Catherine, just like Tina Fey, nails everything she does. They both are absolutely brilliant, though Catherine has just slightly more responsibility on her shoulders, and doesn't often get to do really fun sketches. Tina Fey has a high profile, though luckily for her, she doesn't live under the microscope of so much of the world. I'm not sure where billybones info comes from, but 99% of Princess Catherine's life's work are supporting roles, and she's as good as they come at everything I've seen her involved with.

I don’t think that was meant to be Camilla. Firstly she wore a purple hat to the much publicized wedding and SNL is good about matching colors and clothes for accuracy. My great grandfather (after my great grandmother died) married a 19 year old woman (he was 65 HELLS YEA). Well, his daughter (my great aunt) married the girls FATHER! My great grandfather didn't have any more kids, but his daughter did (one of whom is my first cousin once removed, is still alive and I know her quite well). So go figure THAT one out! My cousins father would have been her grandfather's father in law! LOL! And her father's daughter (by his first marriage) was was my cousin's step-grandmother as well as her half sister!

It irritates me when SNL can't come up with good jokes for someone portraying a musician, so the person doing the impression just sings parts of hit songs... Jimmy Fallon does mimic Dave Matthews pretty well, but it didn't work for a Jeopardy sketch. Just sayin'...
