We, in Britain, have a monarchy . You, in the USA, have a presidency. Your perspectives in these comments simply highlight the difference. Harry is/was part of the institutional Monarchy, and it is not his position to change that, to suit his needs. The King rules the people and serves the people by rulership. He has to listen to the people for the sake of the Monarchy. Harry’s narrative and wish to abuse his position within the monarchy and to criticise, personally, his family and the wider family members, has not been received well in this country. The Queen has not long passed away and this is still technically a period of mourning for her. The Coronation of a new King , is the moment when Charles can stand in front of his country and illuminate his plans in support of his country. It is abysmal that Harry, has chosen this time to take issue with his father , brother, sister in law, stepmother, etc in such a public way. He has simply off loaded his conflicts in the hopes he will over power his family, to redress his notion of being Spare. It is also forgotten that Meghan was supported 100% by her new family, and that King Charles offered to give her away as the bride of Harry, in the absence of her own father. Every effort was made to make Meghan and her mother comfortable as she had little family support from the USA..which was her decision. It must be so hurtful for this gesture of welcome into the family to be trashed by Meghan and Harry. We support our Monarchy until we see it no longer supports us. So far all we can see is a Prince throwing daggers into the heart of Britain.

I was born in Canada and grew up in California. I knew about the Royal Family but wasn't particularly interested. When all this drama began happening with Harry and Meghan, I didn't believe Meghan -- I think it was the engagement interview when Meghan said she never Googled Harry that first sent up a red flag for me. It's been a fascinating journey. I've learned so much. Meghan has become the poster girl for narcissism. Harry stopped maturing shortly after his mother's death. I feel sympathy for them but I can't stand listening to them. The real Royals are such a relief.

I don't doubt your story, and I'm sorry you had that experience because it sounds borne of racism. However, it's really normal for people, whether mixed race couples or not, to wonder about the appearance of their babies. Harry has so many huge chips on his shoulder, I'm willing to bet he'd get mad if told "good morning," much less being part of a discussion regarding the look of his child.

I think the brother is jealous. He was a fan even before Harry met Meghan! He and his wife could not believe Harry was dating her. I think he could not take it. The brother found a woman that would finally make him happy. William was scared of losing Harry. Remember the old saying, everybody has to stand on their own 2 feet and carry their cross. Asking somebody to be your spare for the rest of his life is a big sacrifice. Not everyone is made for that.

@@p.and.h I could go on and on....but here are few. Her father. Here is a woman who can't forgive her father for trying to sell his "story", yet she is along with Harry doing what? Her father who is in his 80's and never even met Harry or his grand kids. Her BF Ninaki whom she dropped like a hot potato because she did not agree with the way Meghan dropped her ex husband.This was a girl whom Meghan knew since they were toddlers and is the girl standing with Meghan in front of Buckingham Palace when they were teenagers ( trip Meghan"s father paid for). For using the race card in order to get Harry away from his own Family ( anybody with some intelligence) can see right through her game.
