I love listening to all veterans. He made my cry at the end. As an American I would like to thank his family for his service!
Each subsequent generation over the last seventy five years has never needed to experience such an event because of the many sacrifices made by you and by your generation. Thank you and thanks to your generation.
The freedom we are revelling on today, we owe to all of you. Thank you.

Excellent.
Within two weeks of landing in Normandy half of all the Royal Marines Commandos were casualties , killed or wounded. I always remember this statistic.
Very haunting. The deepest wounds obtained from wars are often not superficial.
Absolute hero. Even if they don't like to think they are heroes. They are to all who love this country and love freedom! We owe you everything for your sacrifice on D-day! Thank you to all those who fought in this terrible war! And thank you Trevor! You are an absolute legend!

The Freedom that was not there at the time and we have now got but we do not take a moment to acknowledge due to the fact that we've never lived through his time to be aware of the progress. Yes we have things to work on still, we will always have this. But thats the freedom he speaks of.
destroyer. we only have one life, and this guy didn't sign up for anything. live, and let live. We are all protestants surely?
