currently im using rk100. this keyboard was awesome. use it almost 1 year. Change the key cap to double pbt. Didnt have any issue with this keyboard. works perfectly fine and im amazed. but this rk96 have wheel volume which attract more. Will get this keyboard as soon they release rgb version.

Only here because I went to a bin store for the first time and found the RK60 for $8. Solid feel with the blue switches pre installed which is making me consider purchasing the RK96 for my main gaming setup. Unfortunately I have OCD and they don’t make mice or headsets but thanks for making a great review!

Hi, hey I've seen some people complaing that red switches can cause missclick/doubleclick while resting the hands on it or typping, is it true? Does that happen to you?

With the multiple connections, can you instantly switch between them? I have my work and home setups together, will this work similar to the MX Keys and Mechanical, where I can have the keyboard connected via 2.4 to one and BT to the other, and if you FN+ connection option it instantly switches to that input option? Or does it take a second to connect after switching to a different input mode (like when I switch it to BT, does it have to connect at that point to BT)? Thanks!

I have the rk86, and although I like it, the biggest flaw is that to switch to wired or 2.4 I have to turn the board over and toogle a mechanical switch. Switching from one Bluetooth to another Bluetooth is easy with the Fn key. But switching to or from 2.4 or wired is cumbersome. I can not recommend an rk keyboard for this use.

I have an rk84 and Its my all time favorite.

So I have an RK87 RGB tri-mode now, and love it. It came with foam installed from the factory and I love the sound and feel, but I really want a numpad. How does this RK96 sound, compared to an RK61 or RK87? Thank you and great video!

it's good stock but even better when you even make a simple change to pbt caps. It has that nice pleasant sound even with the stock brown switches. Though I will be changing to gazzew u4ts to hopefully have more of the tactile bump and thockiness. Edit: Spacebar though definitely needs some mod, tape, or sound dampener. I put foam anti noise stickers on my new keycaps and I like them.

It has rgb version ! ☺️

Seems like a defect from the factory, you should probably get that exchanged .

Do you have an issue with bent wrist rest? Mine came bent straight from the box.
