Bhai Himalayan 450 zayada power wali nahi hai because of weight. Power to weight ratio of Himalayan is 201 bhp/tonne where as ktm 390 is 245 bhp/tonne. Even torque of ktm is also more than himalayan if you calculate torque/tonne ratio. Only benefit is Himalayan torque comes early compared to ktm. Both are value for money motorcycles no doubt but would suggest anyone to buy Himalayan after an year due to reliability concerns of the first lot.

1 user of himalayan said that he got 35kmpl of milage. Now do calculation... Ktm kabhi bhi 35 ka nahi deti hai until unless you are riding carefully like 45kmph but no one rides it like that it's a high raving engine. Same for himalayan. Dono bikes ka milage 25 to 30 hi hai normal conditions me.

I believe the KTM here for the comparison is the first generation , as the second generation has additional features which are missed whilst comparing the two, Like the bike is equipped with a range of electronic features, along with 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, the later also has riding modes, cornering ABS, off-road ABS, traction control, and ride-by-wire technology, including off-road traction control.

Nope , it's the X version of the Ktm 390 adventure. The specs you've mentioned comes equipped with the Standard variants ( Spokewheel & Tube tires other variant is tubeless & Alloy wheels) . Also , the "X" variant has an LCD display with ABS control and slipper clutch . This is by far the best bike from the adventure series compared to tubed tires of Himalayan. The waiting period and uncertainty of the tubeless version of Himi 450 makes anyone go for this bike easily . I received mine in just 2 days after booking 😄

In reality, the KTM adv 390 has amazing features at the pricepoint. The features mentioned in the comment are all available in the std version in addition you get the single press and release to start, quick shifter, mtc, corner abs, switchable abs, riding modes. Trellis rally frame that is durable and all this when used well can easily match the performance of high-end bikes. In water crossings change a few settings on the adv and it just conquers single handedly. Of course one needs to understand how the bike behaves when the settings are changed and use them appropriately to get the best out of it. Turn off the mtc and see how the low end torque changes and kicks in.
12v car charger on KTM is good because you can use tyre inflator.

Seriously I felt this is a paid n promotional video for Himalayan 450....KTM Adventure is not so bad the way u guys are showing it. There are pros n cons in every brand. U seem to be a pro rider then before buying KTM y didnt u check for all the cons which u saying now. If u can spend more then 3 lakhs then could have gone for BMW as well.

Yeah i feel the same, i have test ridden both bikes and i felt the himalayan was too heavy for a person like me compared to ktm and the weight matters when yor are stuck in difficult situations, the power to weight ratio makes a significant difference in the performance of ktm, also paired up with other features like quick shifter, adjustable levers, adjustable suspension, traction control and add to it ktms engineering and engine refinement, you can only feel it once you ride it

KTM has: Traction Control, Riding Modes, Ride-By-Wire, Quickshifter+, Cornering ABS Engine: Single Cylinder, Liquid Cooled, DOHC Max Power: 32 kW (43.5 PS) @ 9000 rpm Max Torque: 37 Nm @ 7500 rpm Himalayan: Displacement: 452 cc Max Power: 39.47 bhp @ 8000 rpm Max Torque: 40 Nm @ 5500 rpm Riding Modes: Yes As you can see, both the bikes have its own good and bad thing. But if you want just a stock adventure tourer then get the Himalayan, if you need some extra's then go with the KTM. Duke 390 keise 34 to 37 milage deti hai. O don't believe this. Upar se fast reving engine hai and power and torque comes at higher rpm, matlab jyada rev karna parta hoga most of the time. To keise jyada mielage mil raha hai. 28 to 34 de sakte hai at max. 37 to 38 kmpl to ho hi nahi sakta. Himalayan ka bhi 25 to 30 sahi hai 450cc or 40 bhp, 39 NM torque ke liye. Ye sahi hai.
