Update on the installation of the R&R seat cover, unfortunately I was not able to fit the seat cowl with the Raw and Rugged seat cover installed, there is additional padding in the cover that makes installation very difficult I could probably compress the seat cover enough to force the cowl on but then I would worry about too much stress being placed on the cowl which would probably crack it. I was thinking about maybe removing the stock seat cover and shaping the seat foam so there would be extra room for the R&R cover but I haven't decided if I will do that or not. By the way the tool to remove or install the cowl is a 3mm allen wrench. Thanks again for watching!!

Great mod, lucky enough to have been to India a number of times, like you said if it's broke they can fix it, full of great people, mad drivers especially the tuc tuc taxi guys, (mental) herds of cows on the streets and the beach! Its beautiful and crazy all at the same time.....

The brown leather looks good against the white paint, way better then the Orange Crush on mine. I ordered one if those side bags last week for my Interceptor, but I'm already running a seat from Tripmachine and their leather wrap's. So far so good.

I put a six pack in a soft saddlebag and after an eight hour ride the saddlebag was dripping beer. Apparently the shaking caused some cans to burst.

That's a lovely ride & walkthrough video, looking forward for more :) Also I recently purchased the Interceptor 650 (Ventura blue) and replaced the stock seat with the touring seat of continental Gt. Planning to purchase the same tobacco-raw and rugged seat cover, do you think it goes well with the ventura blue color & where you able to attach the seat cowl on top of this ? I think the tobacco color will go well with the Ventura Blue. I still haven't had many rides on mine due to bad weather so haven't yet tried to mount the seat cowl. I want to make sure the R&R seat cover has properly stretched and broken in before I attempt to mount the cowl. I'll update the comments here when I do. Thanks again for watching!!

How water repellent is this seat cover and how about dust accumulation on this as this is a suede leather? Really appreciate if you could answer that from your first hand experience.

Thanks for watching, I've never tested the water repelency of the seat cover, I remove the seat to wash the bike, if rain is expected I think it would be better to remove the cover, suede will discolor if it gets soaking wet . As far as dust accumulation a quick brush with the included brush removes the dust and any debris.

How’s the cover doing? I’m wanting to protect the leather and make the seat more comfortable for touring. Think the cover is a good option?

I wouldn't recommend the cover for touring if you have any chance of rain not sure how to protect or waterproof the leather. The cover is holding up very well actually, the only issue I've noticed is there was a bit of staining from the leather dye on the back of my white tank where the cover rubs against the tank, it's only noticable with the seat off.

I’m a new rider based in the US and I’m trying to find a good source for aftermarket parts for my 2022 RE INT650. I’ve always been a bit apprehensive about using eBay but it seems like the only reasonably priced source out there. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've bought a few parts from E-bay sellers based in India $ and have never had an issue I've usually only bought genuine RE parts from them. Another option is your local dealer $$ or Hitchcocks out of the UK $$$. Welcome to the Royal Enfield World!!

@@losttogether4ever At the risk of wearing out my welcome, I have one more question for you. I’ve noticed that all of the aftermarket adjustable clutch levers for sale on both Amazon and eBay all seem to be missing that little raised lip where the bolt slides through. I’m assuming that’s because of them really being more of a universal lever as opposed to RE specific even though they say “For RE”. The brake lever looks fine. It’s just the clutch levers that look like they need that lip. Do people generally just put in some kind of washer or O-ring to fill that gap or is it better to just pay the extra 30 bucks via Hitchcocks or somewhere else to get one with that extended lip in order to fit more snugly? Thanks again.

I honestly didn't notice any excess play in the thickness of my aftermarket lever. I picked up my levers from Aliexpress www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001825073999.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.4a271802RxrbMI I see where you're talking about the lip missing on the clutch lever, as I said I don't really think it's an issue.

@@losttogether4ever OK well if they work for you and you’re not having any issues with them wobbling or anything without that additional support then that’s good to hear. I’ve seen them on Hitchcock‘s as well as one or two other sites where they actually do have that raised lip to fit perfectly in the bracket or whatever you want to call it but after shipping and everything else, you’re looking at around $60 as opposed to $25-30 without the lip. I didn't have any issues they were prompt and responsive in my interactions. There could be a holiday or they may be really busy, I'm sure they will answer you. They are a reputable company.
