..... the wife wasn't amused .... we treated ourselves to a 85 inch liquid screen Tv... So, I had her sit down.... got the popcorn.. turned off the lights..... she was think'n some epic motion picture..... and got on KZread.. with this video... Yup... good times... 😎

Admittedly I may be wrong but without the back pressure from the exhaust more clean air is forced into the engine. With the sensor sitting in the down pipe the écu would not compensate thus the bike would run much leaner and eventually burn valves. Not that it would happen within a short distance. I now carry spare nuts.

Think you're probably right there, not to mention all the front of the pipe was hanging on by was said ECU sensor wires 😬 But as you said, not much would happen within that short a distance 🤞Lesson learned, the easy way, I hope!

I camped there about 27 years back at a bike rally.

That is one sick sounding bike I'm sure she will be fine she needs a bit of TLC she's done you well not many episode have done what you have done on good old Daisy Mae if I get half the millage out of mine I will be a happy man

Cheers James! I'm sure a bit of TLC and everything will be right as rain again, she's bounced back from worse, they're tough enough machines, at least when given the proper care! 😁

She'll be alright. Fresh spark plug n exhaust bolts will fix her right up. I usually carry an extra spark plug with me just in case 🍻😁👍

Hi Brandon. I’m watching this now and I have couple suggestions. 1. When ride with others, it’s imperative s re at close to the rider in front of you. 2. Ya need to up the revs. It’s probably why the bikes running like crap. Try riding at higher rpm’s. Just a tthought .

Hi Mike! Usually I would keep closer, but as it was quite a wet day, and with the way Daisy was acting up I didn't want to keep too close (at the same time, the GoPro makes me appear farther away than I actually am!) As for why the bike was running not her best, well it turned out she only had 700mls of oil in her, and a fouled spark plug too 😅 All fixed now, and she's feeling much better to ride 👍 Cheers though! All advice welcome 😁
