Our entire Alaskan cruise met our high expectations but Ovation of the Seas far exceeded them. First time on a Quantum class ship and it is our new favorite class. Anthem next summer to Norway.

Thank you for sharing and tips. We're going to Alaska in 23-30 August. This will be my first time sailing on Quantum class. I've been on Oasis before and had a blast each time. It'll be the very first cruise experience for my partner and I can't wait to sail with him on Ovation🥰😘

Great tour man. We have been on Anthem of the seas her sister ship twice. A third time will be February. It's a great class of ship. So beautiful and fun. 270 is just one the most amazing rooms on any ship at sea. We are really looking forward to sailing Anthem again.

The Ovation is quite large but yet well laid out. It didn't seem overwhelming for us. I hope you have an amazing cruise. 🛳️👍

Cafe’ 270 seems to be like Park Cafe’ on Oasis class ships I’m waiting for Alaska 2025 to open and this looks like the perfect ship!

Watching this video gets me very excited. Going in July 2024. Can't wait. Very spacious and clean! Love the pools! Wonder what the weather is like. Question: Are we allowed to bring our tumbler for water?

Awesome! You will love the ship. This was at the beginning of July and we had amazing weather. However, I know other weeks during the summer did rain. Alaska is so hard to predict. Yes, you are allowed to bring a tumblr on board. However make sure it is empty when you get on the ship. Thanks for watching and happy cruising. 😀👍🛳️☀️

That's a good question... We didn't have the coffee package on this cruise so I didn't check. If anyone else watching knows, please comment below. Of course, the regular coffee at the beverage stations in the windjammer is free for everyone.

I would book a cruise if they all had complementary buffet breakfast. I LOVE breakfast

Nice video, thanks so much! I wanted to ask which time of year was this, and which cruise were you on? We were on her sistership last year in May - Alaska itinerary and could see absolutely nothing - due to fog.

That is the solarium bistro.

This tour would be perfect... if only it mentioned whether areas had access to it via a ramp or by the lifts or if it is only accessable by stairs. Im in a wheelchair and all i want to know is can i get to the bottom level of the two70 ir to the front of the solarium. Bc all i see is stairs. 🙄

The casino and bar being open into the Music Hall is concerning. Is it in the non-smoking area of the casino? And does smoke carryover?

As far as I remember the smoking area was inside the casino around the corner from the Music Hall. It did not carryover into the bar area.@@NorthernVikingExplorer
